Fantastic pub, great food and very friendly and helpful staff. Off the beaten track and very peaceful.

Food was top marks, veg just how I like it with some life still left in it! Staff friendly & accommodating. Gardens are lovely to eat outside even on a chillier day, they are well looked after with customers in mind.

Popped in for a light lunch. We had a lovely prawn sandwich and a jacket baked potato. There were other options which looked equally delicious. Lovely friendly pub. Nice large garden.

Booked this place today as partners parents were up for the weekend. Food was lovely and served quite quickly considering the pub was quite busy. For Sunday roasts a choice of ham, lamb, beef or chicken with a selection of vegetables or you could also have scampi or burger. The staff were friendly and polite. Dinner was great. We had to wait a while longer for the puddings , but they were apologetic. Nice size portions. Where we sat there were placards with funny sayings on which kept us amused in-between courses. All in all a nice meal to round off a lazy Sunday .

Great country pub; lovely food and the best beer garden in the area, they’ve even got Del boy’s three wheeler! 😃
