Lovely pub, good atmosphere and a great menu for food. Staff are always very welcoming.It's rare you have a good pool table at pubs and here you'll find two of them.Outside seating area is well maintained and now have heating and shelter.

First visit my grandson took me for Sunday lunch, lively atmosphere very friendly staff and a wonderful roast.

Ange, Shaun and staff run this amazing pub and their hospitality and food are second to none. They have to be highly commended for their stringent Covid regulations too... it's reassuring and makes dining in a very safe environment to enjoy exemplary food. Well done, we will continue to support you! 😄

It has good parking and is adjacent to the town centre. The decor is of a high standard and service matches that. The rear garden is immaculate and tasteful garden furniture has been installed. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable pub.

I wish I'd realised sooner that we have such a gem of a pub right next door!Booked in for a Sunday roast for my partners birthday. Food was absolutely wonderful, all freshly made and full of flavour, not too expensive either. We were told there would be a wee wait as they were very busy but everything came in good time.Most of the service was really great, although you could tell some of the staff were feeling the pressure and seemed quite stressed, left us hanging for a drinks order so ended up just leaving it but let's face it, we'd all be stressed having to work a busy Sunday in these crazy times!A gorgeous friendly wee local, great food, good service and a cracking beer garden. Will definitely be back soon.

So I came here on the off chance today, as after hearing such good things about the food I thought you would need to have booked but got lucky today, thankfully.The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tempura prawns. The prawns were huge and cooked lovely. The roast was a generous size and also cooked very well, and to top it all off desert was delicious too. I was very impressed, all this gorgeous food and only for £16 this is amazing! Service was great and the atmosphere was friendly and the host Angie was lovely very welcoming. I will definitely be going back again.Just to add I do work for a well established pub/restaurant myself and I thought this was definitely better value and generally nicer all round. A big thumbs up from me. Will recommend to anyone.
