Reasonably priced, good selection and prompt service. Had a good few games on the pool table with the regulars, very welcoming.Large beer garden!

Thought we would try a new place for a Sunday roast. This was a great supply. Had the lamb shank. So tasty. Some of the best roast potatoes I've ever had. Freindly and helpful staff, lovely pub garden. We will be back! :)

The Wig & Gown is a surprisingly big pub in the middle of the town centre. There's a decent garden with some covered sections to keep you safe from rain and sun.Plenty of drink options and friendly staff.

Excellent food, reasonably priced. Polite Friendly staff. Clean and well presented

Nice little pub. Hosted a Brazilian night which work Mates had organised. Was great fun for the local Brazilian community. Very good selection of beers including newer breweries.

Lovely atmosphereStaff friendly. Cocktails fish bowls. Very reasonable priced food. Big servings. Pool table and tea room. Have live singing certain nights x small garden but has lighting and heating. Only down side are the toilets are upstairs. Would definitely go again x

Went in on a Saturday- we were looking for apub which allowed dogs and this one doesLarge(ish) pub which serves food- didn't try anything to eat this time so no idea if good or not.They have a good selection if drink available at a very competitive priceWe went in quiet early so not many there at the time but started to get busy by about 6 but not a very young group mainly a more mature (30/40's) clientele which was good.They had a pool tableWe enjoyed the time we spent there and so did the dog who loved all the kind attention given to him by the other customersWell worth a visit - much better than J D Wetherspoon which is over the road which can get a bit lively at timesGive it a go I am sure you will not be disappointedIt was nnnn

Really great pub with a very friendly atmosphere, good music, nice staff, a nice selection of ales and a decent food menu. Great place to bring the family.

Large space that was able to accommodate a group of 8 for lunch. Everyone there was really friendly, I was surprised how many vegetarian options they had on the menu too!
