Sadly not the best YO! experience at Bluewater; the standards have really slipped, for example;our katsu had completely lost all its crunch! It was nearly impossible to get our ‘unlimited’ drinks refilled & no wasabi! 😱The joy of visiting YO! Sushi has also vanished with the implementation of internet only ordering, no button to call for assistance & preordered food only on the belt!Food on the belt was previously YO!’s USP & it allowed you to ‘eat with your eyes’, particularly if you weren’t an experienced Sushi muncher! It all changed during COVID (for obvious reasons) but tragically no sign of it ever going back. This will now be our last YO!

Sushi is fine but the seafood noodle is disappointing. Seafood is not fresh and the soup is tasteless. Definitely over-priced.

Great service, really quick to get my food so you don’t have to wait long. Food was really good as well. Will definitely go again

Last time I went to YO! was before the lockdowns happened. They no longer have the conveyor belt with food on them and now use it as a delivery system when you order on your phone. You need to be quick when the food arrives at your table before it moves off again. No water dispenser and seasonings at the table. I also left hungrier than I arrived and a lighter bank balance.

Love coming here as it's always a great experience coming here. Staff are really friendly and ready to help. Sushi is also the best you will find around, with a large variety to offer, kitchen foods are also great. I come as often as I can as this is only place that makes handrolls.

Me & my partner are regulars and we’re never disappointed! Always busy which speaks volumes. Lovely staff, always fab service and of course the food is 👌🏽 everytime!

Decided to treat ourselves to some Yo! Sushi for lunch whilst out doing some last minute shopping. We hadn’t been for a while and the process had changed a little. Instead of table service (during covid), the conveyor belt was now back in use, and the kitchen program it so that your dishes stop right at your table and your table light turns green when you can remove them from the belt!I much preferred this method to be honest, and it had absolutely no faults.Food was amazing as always, ordered a variety of hot and cold dishes to share between us, all of which were super yummy!Shame there isn’t a Yo! a little closer to home for me, but regardless we’ll be back.

Haven’t been to Yo Sushi for a while. Portions had become very small and I didn’t think the quality was what it used to be. But tried Yo Sushi Bluewater today and everything was very good. Very good portions and the service was impeccable particularly from management. Highly recommend.

Great food and for a very reasonable price. Excellent waiting staff and great variety on the menu. Food was quick to come out and tasted great.

I have visited this restaurant many times and restaurants management has changed recently and it is very good indeed. I recommend highly the salt and chilli squid that is fresh lightly battered squid pieces fried and topped with chopped fresh red chilli and fresh chopped spring onions - it’s delicious. I also highly recommend the Katsu curry dishes - there is chicken, prawn or pumpkin katsu curry options - I tend to go for the chicken and thus is a piece of chicken flattened then breadcrumbs and fried then served on top of rice in a bowl with a dollop of curry sauce - it is topped with Japanese pickles if you order the larger bowl - I love that dish. A notable accompaniment is the pink pickled ginger and the wasabi paste. The pickled ginger and wasabi paste are traditional accompaniments to Japanese food and the wasabi has a spicy kick very similar in intensity to strong English mustard while the ginger has a very sweet taste with the heat of the ginger in the background. I also suggest ordering a miso soup as this is also traditional and helps wash everything down - this is refillable and you only pay once so it’s good value. You should try a couple of the street food dishes such as the Korean fried chicken and the Japanese fried chicken - these are very tasty. Every single staff member we interacted with were professional polite and very well trained and the manager was excellent dealing with one small gripe that he resolved promptly efficiently and very fairly in a professional manner. Full layout and user friendly design this is one of the best YO! Sushi’s you can visit.
