Never again, food was inedible, still partly frozen. Member of my party requested no pigs in blankets due to religion but was given them. Tried to speak to management but was told she was busy cooking the food (have since been told this wasn't true by management) so we was lied to? Argued with about what was/wasn't on the menu. Took 5-6 weeks to get a reply to basically say because we sat at the table and ate part of the starter it warrants us paying £32.95 and that we wouldn't receive a refund. But we can attend this years christmas party free of charge - No thank you! Unprofessional and unorganised

We had our work's Christmas party here on 18th December. Now I was highly impressed with the staff within the venue themselves they were amazing. Checked everyone had a negative test on entry, wore masks all night and were generally attentive to all and worked hard so 5 stars there.What has brought it down to 3 stars overall was the food which frankly majority of which was inedible. Soup okay (pate lots of pate served with a small roll not toast?) , main course a complete write off! Although there was enough veg provided the veg itself was hard and almost raw and potatoes that had an awful green tinge to them so some of our group were thankful they only had one potato on their plate! The rest of the main was cold and tasted like a poor attempt at a school dinner. The dessert of which mine was a gateaux not much better tasted and looked like a £1 Iceland's gateaux which had been thrown into the bowl with a drop of cream and whilst an Iceland's gateaux is okay you expect better from a venue where you're paying £32.50pp. Overall the food was extremely poor and I ended the night going home hungry which is not what you expect after a 3 course meal!The entertainment was average and although I admire the host who tried to keep all engaged throughout but the games reminded me more of a hen party/ladies night than a Christmas party and definitely were not keeping to social distancing there. Overall whilst the staff did their best under the circumstances I would not return especially for food at this venue as for the quality of what was served and the experience in full was not worth what was paid.

Had our Christmas party last night and wow! What a night, food and service was fantastic. The games we were made to play 🙈! and the disco was also amazing. Thank you Kay and all of your staff for an amazing night. Can’t wait for next year!!

This upsets me writing this as I have had some good meals there gut im utterly disheartened that the food was beyond inedible. Vegetarian dishes with meat on, one of our staff are vegan so they aren't going to want to be tucking into meat are they? The food was STONE COLD. Someone was told dauphenoise potatoes to get cold ROAST potatoes. I just feel like things could of been improved. 6 lumps of cheese for 1 cracker. 5 lumps of pate for one roll, still serving food at gone half 10 at night.... I will give two stars as the event itself was fun and the events I've been to in past have been fantastic but Xmas parties are Reay not worth the money! The food was grim, absolutely GRIM! A couple of my colleagues haven't been spoken to the best when they have mentioned about refunds. I have no words.

food was absolutely dreadful got served up 2 roast potatoes on a plate didnt even get my desert it was absolutely a shocker the whole place was not worth the money would not recommend for Christmas party's!

Had a christmas party here on the 11th Dec the food was shocking Nut roast was stuffing with peanuts thrown in it came out with a pig in blanket on the plate food was cold all for the bargain of price £33.00 per head never again absolutely vile !!!

First of all the lift was not working . Were told after about 1.half hrs it was now in use .Asked for a cuppa tea as bar was not open for drinks had to wait for it for half hr . It was cold and disgusting. Friend had coffee that was worse than mine .Staff did not know what Ginger Ale was .Was never charged the same for our drinks . Even when having the same .Staff ththat was clearing tables was very polite and helpful . Even though they were Students . One bar staff complained about the fact they had to give out clean glass each time selling drinks . And said it was stupid as it gave her extra work to do . My answer to that was you have a job be thank full.

We are first time customers of Bluebirds Kitchen (Takeaway menu) via Just Eat and have to say how amazing the burgers are, delicious and piping hot, delivery was fast and courteous, we were very impressed and will be back. We like to support small businesses where we can and are delighted that we found this gem, keep up the good work! A*****++++

Such a shame looked like a great venue but the communication is awful. We had previously booked a night which was cancelled due to Covid - we were offered to move the booking to another event when we tried to do this email, calls and text messages which were being read were ignored. Therefore we are still £110 lighter no money back and no Christmas do. Such a disappointment.

After booking our wedding for the 14th August 2020, It had to postponed due to covid, we finally had our wedding on the 6th August 2021, we had an amazing day, everything ran smoothly and kayliegh the wedding coordinator was most helpful, worked in a professional Manor and met all our requirements, the staff were polite and worked as a team under pressure.We would like to thank kayliegh and her team for making our day so amazing, and we would recommend this venue for all party needs.
