Calcutta Port Pan Asian Restaurant in Dover

Had a delicious meal at Calcutta Port, the staff were really nice and the food was fresh out of the pot hot! Just now I love it 😋 will definitely go again! Also the prices were really affordable- we ordered the mixed starter, two drinks, chicken jalfrezi & tikka masala with white rice & garlic/plain naan

Service was very slow and whilst the food was nice it was very expensive for the portion size. The waiting staff were hit and miss. When we had the guy with the tats he was very charming and funny but the owner guy was clearly very stressed perhaps due to them being busy which it seems they were not prepared for even though it was a Saturday night

Went for a Saturday Lunchtime meal, Wonderful food freshly cooked and also hot..Easily one if not the best Indian restaurants in the Dover area..

Great dining experience, friendly staff and lovely food. The restaurant was very clean and the presentation of the food was great; we’d definitely come back.

Tasty food, good ambiance and very good service. What else needed. Absolutely a must visit restaurant with authentic Indian taste.. I will visit again on my next visit to Dover.

Lovely dining experience and fantastic service, despite it being a very busy evening. Called up beforehand with queries about the food and were served by the same friendly staff, who gave recommendations and answered all of our questions.Special thanks to Anik, who made us feel completely at home.The biryani and butter naan were delicious.

Possibly the worst Indian I’ve ever had, Tikka masala sauce was super runny, saag paneer tasted of absolutely nothing, mushroom bahjee was pretty much just fried mushroom with no spices and possibly the smallest naan bread I’ve ever seen.First and last time user, extremely disappointed.Not too sure how legit these positive reviews are tbh.

Do not order take away from this place. Chips were double cooked and burnt. Nann bread was full of holes and all the coconut had fallen out. Disgusting service at the cost.

I have recently come to Dover for a visit, here I came across Calcutta Port and Indian restaurant!The food was delicious, well presented and quite filling. I had such authentic Indian food after a long time. I will surely come back with my friends again.I recommend this place to whoever is in Dover or is visiting it, try the food at Calcutta Port.
