This place is a 5/5 no doubt. A bit hidden but so gorgeous. Lovely staff, tasty food, good music, great atmosphere. That view as well! We can't wait to be back!

This pub is situated near the beach just down a small side street and with whole marina views at the back.It has a very cosy ambience inside, the menu is extensive and we'll executed and the whole place is amazingly adorned with old memorabilia from yesteryear. For dinner we had fish and chips and it really was excellent. For drinks it is worth noting that if you are a fan of German beers they have quite a few actually on tap - including wheat beer / Weißbier which is really great to find. They have the usual choice of lagers, wines, spirits and a few ales on pump too. There is a large outdoor section as well, with and most of it is covered. Great for quick pint or make a day of it!Highly recommended.

Our first time dining here this evening and we had a splendid time. The food is delicious, the Lamb shank is to die for, really tasty as was the Garlic prawns and Eton Mess. A great selection of drinks too. Staff are friendly and helpful, the place is lovely and clean. The quirky décor makes a refreshing change, as do the old statues. Very impressed, we will definitely be back :)

We were looking for an early dinner after visiting Dover Castle, and came across this place. It’s about a 10 min walk from the castle, and serves yummy mussels! Fish & chips was alright; the chips were really good though. Friendly staff, and nice cosy atmosphere.

Well, for a start it's open on a Sunday evening.. unlike every other place I called. The staff is charming, professional, attentive and personable. The portions are generous and well presented. The decor is amusing. It's a cross between a maritime antique shop and junk shop, but clean and well presented in case you get the wrong idea. Kids will love it.There are a couple of terraces. View on the marina.Great value for money. And the place feels like it belongs to a proprietor, rather than a chain.

Very good. Seated us at lunchtime on a Saturday without a reservation. Food good and excellent value. Quirky maritime decor that reminded us of a happy holiday we had in Cape Cod.

Friendly staff, quirky surroundings. Lunch time visit. Not busy. Only had a bacon sandwich but sadly it wasn't fresh but quite burnt and only warmed. Not offered an alternative to white bread but that tasted fresh. Another day and another selection will probably be better.

Our favourite place to eat when visiting Dover. Always a lovely friendly welcome from the waitresses who never fail to find you a table at a moments notice without a reservation. Delicious food good beer and cider and lovely atmosphere. Came across a lovely German beer here. Krombacher Pils. Beautiful flavour. Very smooth.Wherever you look there are artifacts of a nautical and wartime nature and photographs of a bygone Dover. The bars seem formed from the hulls of boats.I cannot speak too highly of this wonderful restaurant which is supported by a highly professional efficient and friendly team of waitresses. Also compliments to the Chef.
