Perfect seaside ice cream parlour/cafe Lots to choose from, delicious food and drinks reasonably priced. Quick service

Bought back childhood memories, used to go here 50 years ago when visiting grandparents who lived in Deal. Thankfully the interior has had an update since then but still the same great ice cream, the kids loved it.

I love how nostalgic this ice cream parlour is! When you step in you feel as if you are transported back to the 1950s / 1960s due to the wallpaper, chairs and tables and vibe. A very English ice cream parlour overlooking Deal Pier and the seaside front.Fantastic selection of sundaes, Kelly's ice cream, hot drinks and dessert. I enjoyed the Milk Chocolate Cookie Dough with their famous whippy ice cream. It was gooey, melting in your mouth - absolute comfort food and worth the calories. I would come back and visit to try the sundaes and because I liked how traditional and relaxing it was to sit in. Dropped one star purely because they serve kelly's ice cream rather than making their own but it was a really nice cafe. A one of a kind place that captures the spirit of the 1960s

We stopped by Deal Beach Parlour for lunch and had a really good experience. Great toasted sandwiches and panini and great ice cream sundaes. I would recommend.

Got some mixed berry sorbet, and an ice coffee (adjusted for non dairy) and was lovely, everything was clean and staff were friendly and fast

·

Not a great experience unfortunately...went today after a visit to Walmer Castle, the place looks quite funky inside, however, the staff is there looking more as if they are doing you a favour than to welcome...not a greeting, a please, thank you, how can I help? and a not friendly body language.Nothing personal to me but to all the customers I saw walking in & with me.The manager standing hand in hand and yawning watching the staff working but not helping. As for the products, they are fresh and well presented, some overdone and too expensive.Big shame as I normally enjoy similar places, not this one today

The Parlours have been refurbished since i was last there an I miss the old photos which were there. Still lovely and the Ice cream is as nice as it was 50 years ago when my Uncle used to work there 😀

·

I used to live near here & this place was my favourite bolt-hole for a breather from the kids! Nothing has changed, it's still looks like an authentic 1950s coffee bar, without being pretentious, & offers a fantastic range of ice creams & sundaes.

·

I've been here twice now don't queue outside for a nice ice-cream on a cone.. ... Go in side and treat yourself to lovely big sundae ice cream

·

I don't know why you'd want to go anywhere else for ice cream sundaes. They're fantastic. So much choice and so delicious!
