Hut 55 in Dover

The best coffee and cake in Deal/Walmer. A lovely location, on the beach with deck chairs, bean bags and other unusual places to sit.

We were there in June 22 it was a hilly overcast day but on our walk from Deal town centre to Walmer castle we happens upon the delightful Hut 55. The sausage rolls are to die for. Full of mat and surrounded in delicious pastry. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there are free deckchairs on the beach to watch the sea and enjoy your food and drink.

A great find. Really different and interesting cake selection, a great spot on the beach with deck chairs and bean bags to borrow

Sells good cakes and hot sausage rolls. Also a nice variety of hot drinks.

What a lovely spot to have such a beautiful cafe. Great freindly service with loads of cleverly thought through places to informally sit or perch to eat and drink. Coffee was fantastic and although we didn't have food, it all looked tasty, fresh and home cooked. You can also hire a bike as well. Thank you.
