Amazing home made food. Now we also benefit from the deli. Delicious food, friendly staff, the atmosphere is unique and I find the space very comfortable.Update - Spring 2018: Unfortunately Isaura has closed down and the new owner has renamed to Hog & Bean and revamped the space. Have not been in yet and the food I can see displayed does not look enticing.

Isaura's cafe is a wonderful place. We've been here (family of four) before when we visited Deal last year. It's at the end of the high street and has an elegant old fashioned window. They are welcoming to children, - my two girls- 6 and 2 had special cheese and jam sandwiches made up for them, (homemade jam that you can also buy in the shop!). I had a triple decker cheese (melted on top of the bread) sandwich with a warm tomato dip which was divine! I recommend it to anyone, it was delicious. My husband had a tuna melt with a sweet salad at the side which was really tasty. The staff are very kind and chatty, - even the chef popped out to say hi to our kids. In addition, they sell old books, teas, preserves and wines which are entertaining to look at whilst you wait for food. The cakes look amazing, I imagine that this is a great place for high tea as well. Forget the other cafes, just go to Isaura's and be fully satisfied.

A small group of us went, some had breakfast, others cake. We all had drinks. All excellent quality and Eggs Florentine that I had were perfect. Looking forward to returning asap. Take extra money with you for the shop - irresistible food purchases.

Excellent menu. Friendly staff. My favourite lunchtime haunt. Also sells secondhand books at a very reasonable prices.

Great food and friendly service, something a little different to standard coffee shops. Try the ultimate toasty, comes with soup to dip in

Will not return here. We were treated so rudely because we had children with us. They didn't want to give us a table and said it would be a 20min wait even though there were empty tables and even seated someone, while we were waiting, that came in after us. After two very unkind remarks from a male server, we left. We would, however, recommend the coffee shop across the street where we were greeted with excellent customer service and had a lovely meal.
