McDonald's in Dover

Not too long ago, you would queue for two or three minutes, the person serving you would immediately give you your food. Fast food.Now you 'order ahead' on the app, but you can't get them to start cooking it until you are within 100 feet. Your order appears in the 'preparing' list. FOR UP TO 15 MINUTES. It then moves to the 'Please Collect' list, where it stays AGAIN FOR UP TO 15 MINUTES, GETTING COLD before one of the staff brings it out front.Fast food that took half an hour on Sat night, and usually 10 mins plus at quiet times. And is usually tepid or cold. Not just here, but in all the ones I've been to this year.Customise your burger by adding mayonnaise or ketchup and they dump half a bottle on, ruining it.McD has really, really gone downhill

Wow! Ordered on the app to pick up from drive through got to the order point gave my number and they said to go in and collect which I didn’t do on the app so didn’t go in to collect food so didnt collect any thing at all but was still charged! Absolute rip off won’t be eating maccys again Burger King all the way at least bk burgers taste like actual beef!

It's a great place to go the only reason for 4 stars is they messed my order up twice I ordered on the app and we got the food first but no drinks we phoned qnd they brought them out straight away me and my patner got home and started going through the bags and noticed they forgot the fries 🍟 we went on the online chat and they were really helpful and gave us money off our next order of only £2.50 but we were happy with that because the fries are cheaper then that I would still recommend this place though

BLOODY TERRIBLE HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE 2 COKES AND 2 ICE CREAMS , WHILE WAITING 15 MINS FOR OUR ORDER AN ARGUMENT BROKE OUT WITH ANGRY DRIVER AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER SHOUTING COULD BE HEARD CLEARLY FROM SOME DISTANCE ABOUT WAIT TIMES, ORDER FINALLY CAME AND ONE COKE HALF FULL, PARTNER WENT TO GET DRINK CORRECTED THEY TOOK IT STRAIGHT AWAY THEN MADE HER WAIT 10 MINS, MANAGER STEPPED IN AND GOT DRINK MADE BUT PARTNER DEMANDED REFUND WHICH DID COME.

This Macdonald's has become a nightmare. The food quality has become very poor normally cold. No matter what time of day there's always parking and queuing issues they have cordoned off half the car park. Which was done during lockdown, now we have to avoid dangerous delivery drivers they abandon there cars all over the place

Always very busy, no where near enough parking if you want to eat in. Food always good but service could be a bit better. I feel like Just Eat, Deliveroo etc sometimes take priority over customers.

Great Mcdonalds. Visit mostly late at night. Its a popular site with easy to navigate drive-through. You need to know your order as menu board is next to order point. Considering my time of visiting is late, service is friendly, food as you expect. My one & only gripe is why oh why is it so hard to get a milkshake ( not a one-off). I really enjoy a shake with a burger. There is a solution if you want to find one.

Drive through!!!!!Ordered 2 apple pies.. In queue 2 min to pay window..Paid.... In queue 2 min to pick up window... Told apple pies would take 5 min.. Do I want to park n wait..Obviously no one took any notice of my order 4 min previously otherwise I would have only 1 min to wait.. So I politely Took the 2 doughnuts offered instead of a 5 min wait and the 4 min car queueing I had already done..FAST FOOD???

I seem to rate a lot of McD's, seems to be the place the kids want to go. Normally I'd also say it is the quick and easy option... on this occasion it did not hit either of those marks...Drove all the way round as missed the road in initially due to poor signage, when we did get in we found a parking space, but very confusing about if there is / is no spaces...! Went in and tried ordering and they had run out of kids OJ and then convinced kids to have a warm drink of hot choc, but ran out of that too..! Once we had ordered it seemed to take an age - far longer than we have experienced elsewhere before. They had a condiment type station set up but it was also only half full, so had to ask for extra bits.Food itself was fine, so a relief there at least... but when got back to the car someone had kindly put a cone behind it..! Not a major issue, but very odd...!!

Food ALWAYS cold. Food usually missing from the menu...looks like the food has been thrown in the box! Drinks cups never full!So fed up of complaining BE LIKE MINSTER MCDONALDS!!!Yes, a complimentary meal at minster McD's would be lively please. Please this order was x 4! So disappointed!
