Great fish and chips, top pick in Deal. Service is fast even on a busy Friday. Batter is crispy, and the fish is delicious! Friendly owners, good food, take-away and eat in, what more could you ask for?

Excellent food, promptly served, reasonable prices. Served in a small room behind the fryer, no windows.

Portions are hilariously small. Food otherwise adequate, but nothing to write home about.

This is an absolute diamond! Lovely food, great prices and great staff. Enjoy buying from here and then going up to sit on the beach to eat it.

The best fish & chips i have had for a long, long time. Batter was fresh tasting & crispy. The fillets were chunky and very white. Exquisite taste.The chips were also excellent. A distinctive taste. We had a takeaway and ate our meal on the beach.It was that nice my wife and I felt obliged go back and pass on our thanks.

We own a property in Deal and in the past have had fish and chips from this place, the food then was fantastic but mar and pa were very rude to customers. Now the food is bad, the service is bad and now the shop has been handed down to the son or daughter they are even ruder to their clients and the portions are more expensive and smaller, I hope they go out of business as they deserve to nobody wants bad service bad food and rudeness. Hello Fryer Tuck in College Road they have fantastic reviews we are about to try them anyway they can’t be any worse than Middle Street Fish Bar.

So far we've been lucky eating out on our visit to Deal and the surrounding area and here's another example. This is a great fish and chips shop - the often enormous queue attests to this. Everyone seems to say it's the best in the area and I can well believe it.

Once again, a beautiful and tasty plate of fish n' chips courtesy of Middle Street Fish Bar. Service in their newly redecorated and socially distanced restaurant was fantastic from the young lady attending our table. All Covid 19 protocols were observed. Highly recommended to all.

We were after the best fish and chips in Deal after all the reviews but found this to miss the mark by some way. Very greasy, portion sizes not right and annoyingly do not take card and quite unefficient ordering process
