Namaste in Dover

Phoned to order a curry and got a very awkward staff member which stated they do not cater for vegetarians. We have just moved into the area and looking for a decent curry house - I thought this day and age most places catered for vegetarians, or at least would replace meat with vegetables if asked but they would not.

Nice restaurant and the service was good. Some of the food were good, but some were not up to the mark. The biryani served was no where near the standards of proper biryani.

Ordered takeaway to be delivered, great customer service on the phone, was asked what i would like and everything repeated back to me. Was told how long i would have to wait which was within an hr which again was perfect and the food was amazing. The quality and taste of what we ordered was stunning. For a real authentic indian meal would highly recommend. Looking forward to my next one.

Great food but only if you like it hot, we asked for mild on our takeaway but 1 dish was too spicy to eat. Very friendly staff.

Visiting Dover with family and tried to order, it looks like they they don’t care about customers as they are too busy…. while ordering on phone I was told 1 hour but then suddenly I’m the middle of order was told 3 hours while the guy was struggling to find what I wanted to order. Never gonna try and and sont recommended at all👎👎👎

Ok but don't like £5 delivery and if u go in to restrant to eat side dishes are a good size potion but when u get home delivery u get really all sides but eating in is really nice food

Excellent quality food, friendly and efficient staff. Food arrived quickly even with a busy restaurant. Our table was booked for 7 pm and by 8.45 it was clear the restaurant was closing eg staff were vacuuming the carpet and the kitchen was being washed down.

Loved the food! Authentic Indian food and very warm hospitality! We went there with group of friends. Loved the restaurant's ambience too! Starters, Main course everything is good! Friendly staff! Would definitely recommend for people visiting or staying in Dover and around.
