Sir Norman Wisdom in Dover

Popped in for a pint of beer followed by a coffee. Decor is nicely styled with 'Warholesque' portraits of Pub's namesake. Staff were very nice and helpful allowing me to free sample some new beers. I can highly recommend the Kingsdown Ale.

I HEAR THAT ITS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT CHEAP. LOVELY VEGGIE BREAKFAST FOR £3 ODD. I ONLY WENT IN THERE LET SOMEBODY USE MY P A AMP AND MIC FOR A QUIZ NIGHT. ITS ALWAYS BUSY IN THERE.

Not the nicest of Witherspoons...building is bland and the decor is a bit dated. But as a venue with cheap drinks it ticks the box....just needs updating. Staff were great, service to table for drinks was very speedy using the app.

Very quiet tonight as kitchen closed for maintenance till Friday evening. Normally always busy as such really good price for drinks, and Very cheap for food. Can get Very noisy with a lot of ignored small children.

Very disappointing as full breakfast menu was not available due to technical problems in the kitchen. My scrambled eggs on toast were almost cold after sitting on the counter for several minutes waiting for someone to bring them to me.

You know what to expect in spoons, overall the place is quite small for a weatherspoons, staff were pretty carefree. As you can see from the pic, presentation was minimal but overall everything was actually cooked right, even the mushroom and eggs 😃

Great access for me and my mobility scooter. Lift access and disabled toilet. The down side is that it is a small building for the number of customers that want to use it. Staff Great and were working very hard

Went on Friday for a family meal an catch up since first lockdown. Food was quickly served and was nice an hot so freshly cooked to perfection. Table was cleared quickly by lovely ladies. Was nice atmosphere.

We always stop in at The Sir Norman when we are in Deal, it's very popular all year round the staff are friendly and on this occasion the pub was packed but a table was soon cleared and wiped clean for us and we ordered fish and chips twice the food came quite quickly it was hot and very good

Had breakfast three of us two full English and one large f/E they were serve up in five minutes looked very nice but sadly everything was luke warm or cold except for the sausages. They need to serve the food on hot plates obviously the food is already cooked and kept warm ready to serve but if you serve luke warm food on cold plates it's going to be nearly cold when placed in front of you, sorry to say not good at all, won't be doing that again.(Get this sorted and it could be a great breakfast, ingredients are good just need to up their game. )
