The most wonderful community pub. Great food, very inclusive attitude and you'll leave with multiple new social friends. The bar staff are attentive, the food is very well priced for the area and you'll leave with a wide grin.

This is a popular pub with a really friendly atmosphere. When we visited, there were three dogs already in the bar who welcomed my friend's greyhound. All the dogs behaved beautifully and the patron was clearly happy they were there.

Good, attentive service. Nothing to big or small. Food is excellent, served well, and of a nice size to fill but not stuff. Will definitely go again

Invicta Wednesday Wigglers took a Harley-Davidson ride around Kent, endingvupvat The Anchor for Lunch.Attentive service was given to us all and everything from the drinks service to the food delivery was excellent.13 of us were treated to a lovely meal to suit all tastes, with a variety of food that was cooked to give us a tasty lunch. We will return soon.

Brilliant family pub, took the family and our dogs. Staff were so helpful and obliging. Good beer with Harvey's on draught! Down to earth food options. Will definitely revisit, also want to have a go in the bar billiards table, not many left these days.

Came here for a Sunday roast, it was absolutely lush and was one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Lovely staff and it’s such a gorgeous traditional pub inside!

A lovely, friendly pub that welcomes all. We always make a point of stopping by when we're passing. Roaring fire, attentive staff, great food, cold beer. Our favourite ☺️

Tonight was the night of many young talents. Feels great to witness history in the making as these kids will certainly follow the Canterbury music tradition Pub small, historic, definitely needs doing up. But how the noise, the music is not heard from outside beats me 🤣

Had a fantastic meal there last night. People are lovely and friendly. Meals out of this world. All fresh. Definitely be going again. Best place we have ever eaten in. Lovely atmosphere too.
