"a family run business specialising in, both, a breakfast as well as a lunch orientated menu. We pay close attention to the needs and requirements of people with eating restrictions such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan across the menu and in terms of our extensive cakes offering. Our name has become synonymous with the provision of Afternoon and Cream Teas, both as eat-in and as takeaway, and offer an excellent roast menu on Sundays"

I ordered afternoon tea for three of us to be delivered locally. Charlie was helpful and friendly the whole way through. When the tea arrived it was beautifully presented in different savoury and sweet boxes, which are cardboard and so can be recycled. Full marks for the quality and presentation of the tea treats, for the carbon friendly packaging, for the vegetarian option and the great customer service. We had afternoon tea for two between three of us and it was plenty. I'd definitely recommend the Corner Cafe and will use it again. Just yum!!

Thank you so much for the beautiful afternoon tea you sent out to my parents, it certainly brightened their day. And when I get home to Kent I am definitely coming into your shop to personally thank you and enjoy some lunch. Your service and presentation of your food is more than 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I must admit I always have the big Breakfast with Black pudding orange juice tea and bb.Every mouth full is a joy.the staff are on the ball, making sure when the becomes empty. They clean down, and make it safe for other customers. And always happy and smiling the chef knows how to cook.Ps the cakes are Fantastic too.

Friendly staff and wonderful service. We stopped for breakfast this morning. I had the vegetarian and my wife had the corner breakfast. Both were generous portions and cooked perfectly. We were also tempted by the capacino cake so had to take a slice to go 😊

Lovely quirky cafe that doubles as an antique shop so you have to be careful to keep elbows away from vintage ornaments that hang from every bit of wall. We were looking forward to some hot soup after a cold day's walk. None on the menu - no worries - after kitchen consultations we were offered a choice of home made or tinned. The resulting home made tomato and basil was superb - pleasing enough for any fine dining restaurant. Highly recommended for a visit.

I stopped here for an early morning breakfast. A charming Cafe full of nick-nacks and antiques. Friendly staff, with all food / cutlery handled hygienically. The food was simple, well cooked and with decent portions. A good, honest plateful! I felt very welcome and will return when I next pass through!

Today I went to a Afternoon tea for the NHS and what was delivered was outstanding each person had a box of savoury and a box of sweet brilliant it was and the amount of food in the box was great such a good variety and very flavour some. I brought the rest home as it was very filling and well worth the money. Thankyou Captain Tom for all your hard work raising money thru covid for the NHS captain. We salute you xxx
