The Dog Inn Restaurant in Dover

Wonderful atmosphere and very helpful staff. A little "into rural Dover area" but well worth getting there. Great food.

What a super find!! I brought a friend here for a meal based on the other reviews. The Chance inn could be a new favorite!! We were warmly received and shown to our table. I took a chance on the soup of the day (curried parsnip) from our servers recommendation and it was amazing!! The burger I had for my main course was excellent. After all the gorgeous food we relaxed in front of the wood burner and passed some time with another drink. We never felt rushed and could have happily stayed longer. Highly recommended!! Excellent all round. Well done The Chance inn, we will be back.

Lovely, friendly staff and a Sunday lunch to rival my own, according to my husband. So I'm not cooking any more for him! We will definitely return 😃

Great village pub. Very friendly staff and excellent selection of Gin. The Sunday roast is a must have. The Ice Breaker ale is one of my favourites.

Great traditional village pub using fresh local produce on their menu. Our Sunday roast was as good as being at home but without all the washing up , With a warm welcome and good selection of drinks what's not to like hence my 5 star's.

Greet beer, great landlady. Superbly friendly, allows behaved dogs. Skittle alley and golf putting to the rear. Recommend

The Chance Inn is a great place to have an evening meal and a cold beer. We have been going there for a few years now and they never disappoint. First you are greeted with a warm and friendly smile and you immediately feel at home. We have ordered several items off the menu and all dishes have been very tasty. Thumbs up on the vegetarian dishes as well. We'll be back! Oh, a dessert is a must....

After a very busy day at work we decided we needed a tea time treat . We popped into The Chance Inn , a delightful ,local village pub. The staff are fantastic , friendly and welcoming.Honestly , if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal , then pop along to the Chance Inn , tucked away in Guston Village , near Dover Castle.Hubby and 2 sons all chose to have the Ultimate beef burger , and I opted for the chicken burger.The sight of the dishes as they were placed before us was phenomenal. The burgers were stacked do high with salad and onion rings , and the chips were superb.Somehow we managed to eat these humongous , delicious 😋 meals and then made our way home ...The dessert menu will have to wait for another day ☺️ XX

Lovely gem of a pub , super staff lovely landlord . This pub has the lot . Charm , darts ,skittle ally in the garden and nine hole putting green. The food was of a super high standard and all home made . Will definitely come back here as soon as possible.
