The Good Year in Dover

Normally use this chinese every couple of weeks. I Don't know what has changed but the chicken balls didn't taste the same and we're way to greasy. Portion sizes of everything seem to have got smaller. Don't know if I will be using this anymore.

Tried because of their vegan offerings. Their salt and chilli tofu is fantastic. About the only takeaway in town that seems to know how to cook tofu properly. Their mock chicken is honestly nicer than real chicken too.

Food was piping hot and very tasty. Arrived early. Friendly service. Will definitely be ordering from here again. 😊

Always cheerful on the phone, food always arrives hot and quickly, after living here for a year and trying all the different takeaways, the good year is by far the best takeaway in Dover!

Why our you not open on Wednesdays aswell now?

My husband went to this Chinese because our usual one is shut due to Covid 19. I am a worrier, I dont like changing but I can honestly say it was tasty, good value (meal for 3). NOT full of giant pieces of onion and hundreds of peas. There was definitely enough for the 3 of us.

First time using the Good Year, food was delicious, very reasonably priced and extremely helpful staff. Will definitely be back!!!

Used this chinese as our normal one was shut. Must say best chinese ive had in a long time. Its now our new favourite. X

Food was late even though id ordered an hour earlier and it was cold by the time i got home just 5 mins away

First time used and beautiful food for a good price. Delivered on time with polite service. Will absolutely be using again :)
