Immaculate venue, very lovely! Had the pancakes for Pancake Day, very nice and good portion size. Would love to try the cocktail menu.

I'm visiting Deal with my boyfriend and we went here twice, once for dinner and once for afternoon tea. It's a really cute location and the atmosphere is lovely, all the employees were friendly. We had burgers and drinks for dinner. I think I have a bit of a high standard for burgers and I really enjoyed mine. The highlight was definitely the mac and cheese though, it was perfect: creamy and indulgent, and baked in a cast iron skillet so the cheese was nice and browned on top. Definitely worth stopping by for lunch again. I'm tempted to try the mac and cheese burger next time :)We came back for afternoon tea a few days later and it was so much fun! An even mix of savory and sweet, all of it very fresh and seasonal. There was an amazing parsnip soup, my boyfriend's favorite was the sausage roll, the triffle and the brownie were delicious as well and I loved the ginger bread (though I think my boyfriend didn't like it as much it might have been my favorite, it's hard to say though, it was all so good). We couldn't finish everything even though we had come hungry, so we took the last few things home in a box. I definitely will be going back next time I'm in town!

Terrific. A true specialist when it comes to Hot Dogs and Burgers - a brilliant menu selection for food and drink, not to mention the neverending cocktail list!The best Hot Dog I've had in a long time 🤩

A real Gem of a place! We come to The Lane alot with family & friends for meals out and the bakery. Very welcoming, very accommodating, very friendly staff, great service & the food is perfect! I always get asked "where did you get that burger?" "Where did those bakes come from?" I always recommend The Lane for the best burger & bakes around!

While visiting Deal, we popped into The lane cafe for brunch. Would usually have a cooked breakfast but saw a customer on another table eating a breakfast burrito. Absolutely delicious … Very friendly staff, decor nice. Very clean. Nothing negative to say about The Lane.

Delicious breakfast and lunch in The Lane over the last two days.Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, excellent bacon with good quality sausages.Pancake stack massive!!Lunch was great. Lovely barbecue chicken wings also nice nachos, good panini's and hot dogs.Only criticism the hot dog brioche bun can be a little tough.Beautiful selection of cakes made from there own bakery and extensive drinks menu.You can visit the bakery and receive 10% when you show your receipt from your meal within 48h.Breakfast served till 12pmLunch from 12pmAfternoon tea available 2pm-5pmStaff polite, professional and attentive.

Amazing choice on the menu caters for all diets veggie, vegan, meat eaters. All recipes are well thought out not half attempts. The dessert selection is crazy we couldn't decide so got two to take home. Attentive friendly upbeat staff, very accommodating and dog friendly.

Excellent cocktail menu and staff were lovely. Burgers are thick (my preference is a thinner, smash patty hence the score). Pretzels buns were excellent and I nice change from brioche.

Lovely. Had the lane breakfast and the lane crumpet. Cooked our poachies just how we asked. Great strong coffee too and friendly service with a smile. Would defo come back again 🤗⚡️🏰
