The Lydden Bell in Dover

A lovely family, pet friendly pub. They had a cancellation on valentines day and so glad we got to eat. The food was top notch and not too expensive. The menu had a different range of foods. Portions were big. Staff more than helpful. Table service. Will visit again soon.

Thank you for a beautiful meal on Tuesday evening. We we're staying locally and after looking up the recommended local pubs etc we settled on the Lydden Bell Pub after viewing the menu online. We booked a table and we're pleased to see our chosen menu choices available. The food was delicious, generous servings and priced as expected. (Cheapest meal options start at £12.95).The staff were welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely and we found the pub cosy and clean and the perfect balance between traditional and modern. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend.

Amazing food - fabulous venue and lovely staff. Mussels are gorgeous for a starter but you gave to try the mixed fish grill for main as well as the lamb dish- fantastic.

Had a really lovely meal here for a fair price. Staff were excellent and very friendly even though I made a mess with the salt and pepper lol. Lovely setting and atmosphere will definitely be back soon.

Called in on a few night while staying in lydden we were met by friendly staff serving real ale and great .. no fantastic food cannot wait till we are back here again

Absolutely delightful!I have eaten here several times, for birthdays with friends and family.The food is always wonderful, creative and they have extensive menu boards and specials.With old beams and rustic tables and chairs, it has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
