The Royal Oak in Dover

Very clean rooms and delicious food. Very friendly staff.

Popped in for some lunch with a friend. We both thought everything was perfect. We will be back.

Good honest home cooked food, but not just your 'Hunters Chicken' type menu, they do a Liver and Bacon which is awesome! The decor has been refreshed in the last couple of years and the staff are lovely. There really is no complaints about the Royal Oak. We visit there for the quiz nights mostly, and love the place.

Didn't stay over night, great pub though with lovely people and tasty self made food!

Stayed there for one night. The Bedrooms were nice and cozy and very clean. Also included ab english breakfast which was very tasty. All staff members were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food, friendly staff, great place for a lunch after a Walk through Kearsney Abbey.

Me and my work mates stayed here from a Mon to Fri, working in the area. The rooms were spotless, warm & comfortable. They made us breakfast bags every morning which were superb. The staff were extremely hospitable. Off road parking, which is always a bonus with work vans. Good bar, good food.

Lovely stay. Stayed twice now. Staff lovely. Couple of little issues but all sorted by staff. Great rooms although no TV in.

Friendly staff, good pub grub menu and a couple of decent guest ales alongside the usual array of lagers etc.

Lovely pub and staff but the food let it down. We had a Sunday roast which was disappointing, measly amount of meat and veg and the roast potatoes had been reheated and not nice. Please take note and cook from fresh !!!
