The Smugglers Bar and Restaurant in Dover

Loved the area, and became a local. Thought I’d give this a try as I can walk home. It was really good. Opened up past the small entrance to a light fresh and rustic dining area. Not somewhere you would go for a view, but for a decent quality meal at a good price. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Absolutely fabulous food and very well run,with a longstanding hostess and the chef,everything speaks volumes.

Lovely little pub with very friendly staff. Attended a wake there last week and the staff were very supportive to all who were there. The food laid on was great, even supplying a gluten free option. Well done Smugglers.

Fabulous Sunday lunch, starters and roast really tasty - great roasties, Yorkshire pudding and variety of vegetables. The gravy was rich and super tasty.. Friendly welcoming service with smiles. Would highly recommend.

We went out for a meal with my friend last night. The food was amazing, the staff were excellent friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our night . We will be back soon…

Very cozy little pub, newly and lovingly decorated. Staff is super nice and welcoming. We also stopped for dinner and had their speciality steak, spoiler alert: it was delicious (also it was huge so excellent value for ££) Would 100% recommend and come back

This is a lovely pub with friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were able to accommodate our group of 6 plus a small dog for a lovely evening meal. The menu was extensive and the food was superb. The children enjoyed the freshly made pizzas. Would definitely visit here again. 10/10 keep up the good work.

We've visited before but it was a few years back so thought we'd book a table and see if it had changed at all.Amazing food and drink!!!I cannot honestly do justice when it comes to the food and coffee in The Smugglers. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they are helpful if you're not too sure which dessert to try out. We will definitely he back and hopefully very soon.Cannot recommend enough!

Telephoned to see availability on father's day and got a table within 10 mins. Lovely roast dinner with all trimmings and nice selection of desert's. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff

Best cooked meal we have ever had . Presentation of food was lovely . Wines were great and staff super friendly . Will definitely visit again if we come back this way
