The Zetland Arms in Dover

Lovely food. My partner has veggie stilton mushroom pie and I had cod and chips. Both great. Lots of tables outside though looks like just 2 in the photos. Approx 12 tables

Lovely lunch after local walk. Quick service & very reasonable

Six of us turned up unannounced wanting to be fed and we were taken care of really well. Great food and service and a lovely pub in general 👍

Great beachside location between deal and at Margaret's bay, with well used restaurant. Disappointed they seem no longer to offer light lunch suitable for walkers. Did not stay.

The food and drink were very good, well cooked and nicely presented. What spoiled our experience, was the ambience, one waitress was miserable, neither were masked. The six of us, adults, were crowded onto a table jammed into the window, that would seat 4, we had booked a table for 6.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the way they treated me and my partner. We visited today around 3 pm during geave rain and asked for a table for two. The lady said there is a table so we sat there waiting for service. My partner went to the bar to get drinks but she was told to wait at the table. We sat without anyone acknowledging our presence for 25 min. New customers were coming and were served and we felt completely ignored. My partner said we should leave as she felt terrible. I am not sure but I have a feeling we have been ignored because of our accent (we are not English). Such a shame as we enjoyed our lovely walk and thought about a nice meal in the pub. In my opinion the staff present that time were absolutely unprofessional and looked stressed. I hope they learn 7 steps of successful customer service. I would not recommend that place.

Seaside pub with indoor and outside tables. Excellent pub food, particularly impressive fish, specials and pies. Good beer, wine and friendly service. What pubs should be but we all know are often not. Recommended. Dog friendly.

If you go on the right night, you will see a lovely sunset. Pub is right on the beach. Lovely place, great to eat indoors or in the garden area at the back of the pub. Food was excellent as was the service. We had the Spitfire beer battered cod. Well worth a visit!

Great food and great service in a lovely oldfasioned pub setting, but make sure you book in advance as it seems very popular.

Genuinely the best meal we have had in a decade. Beautifully cooked, portion sizes perfect. Absolutely fantastic. We will be back.
