Village Pizza in Dover

This place is fantastic. The food is excellent. We walked in without a booking and were very pleased with the service and the food.

Ate at Il Rustico last night and was pleasantly surprised by the good food and warm welcome. We did not have to wait too long for our food after ordering and the food was freshly cooked to order. the price for 4 people was very reasonable as we had 3 courses. We will definitely go there for my special birthday.

The food and service was excellent. Great quality and taste of authentic Italian dishes. Price was equally important to our budget, and this fitted in well.

Il Rustico really exceeded our expectations.The food was delicious and freshly prepared.Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived late on a Sunday evening. We had lasagne and rigatoni with vegetables, both of which were excellent. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and lasagne was crispy and flavorful. We will definitely come back next time we come to Dover.

The most delicious tasty meal! We stopped in after our day exploring the castle and cliffs in Dover. Wonderful wait staff and excellent proportions. The funghi ai Quattro was the best and I could have made a meal out of that alone. The linguini carbonara was amazing as well as the rest of our meal...chicken Parmigiano, the Rigatoni pasta, and Marchareta pizza! Wish I had time to visit again this trip!

If you want really good home-cooked Italian food look no further. The pasta was excellent - we had the Rigatoni Salsicce and the Linguini Bolognese - both generous and hearty dishes. Then a contrast to follow- a beautiful orange pannacotta - a desert to die for. Finished off with excellent espresso coffee (the mark of a good restaurant).

Over the years, we have visited this restaurant many times after a hard day sailing. Reliable good quality food and wine. Never had a food allergy issue despite there being shellfish also on the menu. Good service. Great tiramisu.

We had a lovely lunch here on our way to Dover Castle. Highly recommended place! Mussels were super fresh and the carbonara reminded me of my mother’s cooking. Service was very good as well.
