Ordered small breakfast and a tea at 10.30am had to ask 3 times for sweetener as waitress kept forgetting to bring it, cafe wasn't busy but had to wait 55 minutes for breakfast to come, cook seems to be cooking one breakfast at a time! Very cross and not even offered a discount for waiting such a long time! Other customers looking fed up waiting food also.Never again!

Friendly staff, excellent food, great value, takeaway containers environmentally friendly. Definitely will be back!Pictured is the fully loaded breakfast bap (without egg as requested). It’s excellent!!

Me, my wife and 3 kids visited this cafe this morning, I can say is we loved the food and the service was outstanding, friendly and staff was smiling 🙂.Being we are a fussy family regarding food, I can strongly say one of the best we have visited and eaten.Well done guys and keep up the good work 😊Will definitely be going back here👍🏻

Things seemed to be a tad slow, but oh so worth it, 2 baps the bacon (not mine) looked fantastic - next time and there most certainly will be, and the sausage one - lovely herby, slightly toasted bap - yum and at a nice price and drinks were well priced, under a tenner for two. So definitely worth the wait and too top it all nice peeps, Dover is uping it's image

Situated along the front opposite the harbour I had a full English. A really clean establishment with attentive staff. A superb breakfast with great sausage. If you're in Dover check it out, you won't be disappointed

This place does everything right! Me and my family loved eating here and the sausage is luxurious! I loved it here because it reminded me of bob’s burgers and the food is good. The decor is jaw-dropping.Jacob Tuff aged 10

The Happy Chef is a very nice diner that serves a proper English Breakfast at a very reasonable price. It had their Large Breakfast, which is basically an English Breakfast without black pudding. It was prepared quite well and served with very fresh toast and butter. This was a perfect place to stop before hiking up to Dover Castle and then along the English Coast Path.
