Lovely place. Delicious food and drinks served up by a friendly and helpful team. Their team spirit and attitude shines. Top notch.

Poor/average food, high prices, nice location. Half our chips were half cooked and our sandwiches were bland. £30 for two people with one pint and one coffee. We had to leave in a hurry so couldn’t say anything at the time. Suffice it to say we won’t be returning.

This is an absolutely delightful country pub. A roaring fire, delicious food, great drinks and fabulous service made for an absolutely fantastic evening. My lemon chicken and pea and ham risotto main was delicious and our entire group had an absolutely lovely evening and were incredibly well looked after by the fantastic staff team. A delight, we will be back very soon!

Brandon was lovely, we hadn’t booked and he did all he could to accommodate. Garden gorgeous on a sunny winters day, bubbles served in the proper way, atmosphere fantastic inside.

Unfortunately the pies and Vegan Wellington were off, but a nice meal all the same. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Took note of our dietary requirements and warned were a dish we had selected would not suit.

Very lovely place. Nice food and good service. Big portioneren. Vegetarian very nice. Cheese platter could be a bit more refined and wines were too expensive for quality offered.

We have visited many times over the years for large family get togethers, birthdays and smaller groups and always had a warm welcome and delicious meal. Today was no exception - just the two of us for lunch - me and my dad - and the staff are really lovely, the lunch menu was superb (I recommend the chicken and ham pie in tarragon sauce and the fish and chips) and it was every bit as special as any time we’ve been. Thank you and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Attractive, welcoming country pub with large stony car park and good sized garden with covered raised stage area. Lovely friendly staff and expertly prepared delicious food.

Lovely pub, nice atmosphere and decor. The food was delicious, good portion sizes. Wrong main was delivered initially and had to wait 20 mins for correct risotto to be cooked. Was well worth the wait, creamy and flavoursome. Would highly recommend this place.

The food here never disappoints, it is amazing! We had a take away during one of the lockdown and had pheasant Wellington which was out of this world. It was so good we had to go back and again the food was amazing and staff were lovely. I would recommend this place to anyone
