Didn't get to go into shopping areas as went to the cafe/restaurant for refreshments. Had a lovely lunch of Quiche Lorraine with beetroot and coleslaw ,green salad and cherry Tom's. The Quiche was one of the best I have had it wasn't a slice it was an individual one that was deep filled and served warm,so moist not dry like some .

Lovely place to enjoy lunch and tea. Nice setting. The Quiche Lorraine was delicious. The fish finger sandwich was good too, but they had no tartare sauce in it so felt a bit dry. I thought they would have made their own rather then give us little plastic packs of sauce.

Very disappointed today went for lunch but left without ordering. All the usual tasty hot meals had been replaced with expensive lack lustre items. Nothing that we fancied on the menu even the blackboard desserts looked a bit sad. Usually very busy and hard to get a table so we phoned and reserved but needn't have bothered the place was virtually empty. Think that proves a point. Used to be a regular but won't bother again. Further to your reply to my review I was only giving my views on your new menu. With the English climate I am sure many people still appreciate a hot meal. Obviously you are not good with valid views.

Used to visit on a regular basis before lockdown and enjoyed the afternoon tea.Unfortunately this time we had a spider walking around our sandwiches, which nobody apologised for (manager was supposed to come over but didn’t bother)The cakes were extremely small and did not taste very nice.Followed by one scone each?!!!There used to be two?!The afternoon tea was very disappointing and for the price they charge it was embarrassing. After finding the manager ourselves she insisted that no one else had complained (obviously hasn’t read reviews)Appalling service and food will never go back or advise anyone to visit

First time here having passed it many times on the way to Alton. Loved the shops and spent a small fortune but worth it. I'll be back for more, especially the picture shop which had a great selection. I need to have lunch here next time and then shop some more. Thankyou for a great shopping experience. Matt Hind

Went here for lunch a couple of weeks ago. The staff are friendly the space was so relaxing. We sat in the conservatory bit when it was pouring with rain and the sound of the rain on the roof was so relaxing. I had the lasagne which was delicious and my partner had the fish finger sandwich which was huge. The wedges are so delicious and the thickest wedges I think I've ever had. Probably worth booking if there's quite a few of you. The little shops were cute and we had a nice time wandering around. Will definitely be returning back here!

The five stars are for the tearoom breakfast. Quality tasty breakfast in small and large sizes, served with a smile from lovely staff. Then there are the little gift shops to look around to finish off with. Lovely quirky place with great breakfast.

Huge portions and very tasty. Staff are lovely. Nice little hangers to look for unusual gifts!

Visited here on the off chance one Saturday afternoon. It was close to closing time so we had a quick scoot around the gift barns but didn’t sample the tea rooms, we’ll save that for next time.Great selection of gifts and home ideas including lamps, pictures, bar items, ladies handbags and clocks. With more time there was plenty to browse through.Look forward to a revisit and chance to sample the cakes and coffee or perhaps a breakfast 🍳
