A memorable evening. I could list many things far from perfect though the food was not one of them (pie was exceptional and the rare to get veg so perfectly cooked) and nor was the service. Each little thing became a fun event humerously handled so that it added to the evening. We left very happy and provided you relax and enjoy being genuinely looked after, you will too. The final icing on the cake was when we questioned the bill which missed a couple of beers, we received an apology for not explaining the Tuesday deal. What a truly great evening. Thanks.

Lovely quiet little venue with good quality food and wine. Shame about the beer selection.

We were a group of 11 on Friday. We ordered the fish and chips and cabonarra as a take away. All the food was beautifully presented arriving nice and warm and was really delicious. Can highly recommend.

Sadly, the meal we had was pretty poor. Chips were okay, but everything else seemed like it came out of the microwave, and it was expensive for microwave food. Service was slow, but admittedly this was because of a lot of take away orders. It's a shame because we had a fantastic roadt from them last year whilst hiking in the area. I hope it picks up again.

Lovely pint of Badger, friendly locals and tasty well priced food.Such a shame though the brick o brack interior featured in the photos online appears to have been replaced with a somewhat stripped out and bland/minimalist interior. Not at all what you want to find a picture perfect country pub. You see it all too often; why strip out an interior to make it blander than bland, it’s not what people seeking ‘cosy country pubs’ actually want… real pity especially when this was clearly an intentional not accidental change.

Good beer, nice garden. No WiFi or phone signal! Shocking...you will have to actually talk to your friends.

Just ordered a Sunday Roast Delivery and Wow!!! Incredibly tasty food and pleasant delivery. Hats off to the chef!!! Delicious!!! Will be my go to on Sundays!!! If you haven't tried it you should! 😋5*****

Midweek, early evening meal of cod mornay, chips and vegetables, delicious! As was the beer. Friendly, efficient service. Good value.Fantastic village pub with a strong local following and great atmosphere. Dog friendly.Highly recommended for humans too!

Could be a good country pub but no lunchtime food, just 2 cake options. Pity they haven't profited from the other pub being closed. Not even tinned soup or microwaved frozen stuff.

Outstanding take away service offered by this excellent pub. Top notch Sunday Roast delivered to your home at a time to suit. Good selection of meat and vegetables, generous portions, well packaged to preserve warmth and appearance. Extremely helpful lady took the order, highly recommended, a real treat.
