Great Oak in East Hampshire

Thank you very much. We had a lovely time here and our food was very nice. Despite being very busy and understaffed, the staff here were very professional and gave their very best with a smile.We'd like to pass on a special thank you to Darcy who waited on us. My wife is pregnant and she was made to feel very comfortable. Darcy was very lovely and helped us feel very looked after.Thank you very much.

Stayed overnight on a business trip at the Premier Inn. Nice evening meal in the bar area because the restaurant was full then the Premier breakfast in the morning was lovely. The breakfast is served not buffet which I prefer.

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to have lunch at this lovely place. Our waiter George was simply wonderful. He showed us the best spot in the restaurant area, provided the allergies information and checked that my choices from the menu were acceptable for my needs. I had a mouthwatering salmon salad and a delicious vegan ice-cream and fruit sorbet for dessert. At the end we were given a Happy anniversary card with a small box of chocolates. All in all a very nice experience and I highly recommend this place to anybody reading this comment.

Staff were fantastic, place was great. Only thing was that I ordered a chargrilled chicken meal and after a very long wait got a roasted chicken instead. Complained to the manager and he said that it is a menu issue rather as they only prepare the chicken like this and not as it is offered on the menu. He explained that they and other beefeaters have complained, but were told that as the menus were printed as chargrilled, this issue would remain as such.

Ratchet place. Seemed understaffed, as only one poor girl running the bar and waiting on tables... This was during lunch on a weekend. We weren't attended to when we arrived, so I sat my own æ$$ down at the closest table. Tables were dirty and still had weekday lunch menus on as opposed to regular menus. Managed to order a drink but then quickly left. Ratchet / 10.

Have been here twice recently. Enjoyed the food which was well cooked. Staff very friendly and overall very good value.

Easy access from the A3. Simple parking adjacent to the front door. Usual comprehensive menu. Restaurant was not busy during our visit. Good service and tasty food. Reasonable value for money. Overall I enjoyed my lunch but Beefeater could do with a refreshed menu in my opinion.

Went for breakfast this morning. Kim our server was out front alone like wonder woman. Calm , organised and extremely efficient ..Great service. Delicious breakfast . Lots of choice . Great value.

Nice restaurant, very convenient by the motorway. The staff is very helpful and polite, the food was very nice. We are both vegans and it was so nice to see that they have a full page of vegetarian and vegan food for us.

Good food (for the price) nice staff and cheap, will definitely go back if in the area.
