Indian Cottage in East Hampshire

I visited because it was HMC. The food was nice but cannot tolerate extremely dirty seats, cuttlery with food bits and water marks, glass with marks, and chips for £5 and had like 15-20 pieces. The decor was very outdated. I think the prices were also expensive compared to the dining expensive. I will definitely not visit again such a disgusting restaurant. Also, staff should not he wiping down seats every day and should hire a cleaner to do this..

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!ordered at takeaway at 18:25 (man on the phone had no customer service skills and was so quiet I could barely hear him) takeaway didn't show up until 19:50 which is ridiculous I then had to pay £3 more than the actual cost of my takeaway as the delivery driver didn't have enough change with him, I then find that my chips are stone cold and soggy and my curry is also cold, sloppy and pretty much tasteless !, will never be ordering from India cottage again!!!

AVOID. We ordered a chicken korma takeaway. I would like to say it tasted awful but the problem here was that it was completed tasteless. It looked like a korma and had a korma texture but can only compare the taste to water. It literally tasted of nothing at all. I'm sure the chef completely forgot to add... um... everything to the pot when cooking this dish!

Best Indian restaurant and takeaway around. Always great food. Great atmosphere in restaurant. Friendly welcome. Efficient staff. Good delivery drivers too. 10/10 well recommended

We entered the resteraunt and stood by the door for ten minutes waiting to be seated for our booked table. Waiters were just stood by the till, in the end I had to approach them after awkwardly standing there so long. We sat down at the table and were literally ignored for 35 minutes with no offer of a drink or any popadoms. At that point we stood up to leave and only then did they try and offer us drinks whilst we were walking out! They were not overly busy. I really don't know I bothered going as this isn't the first time people I know have walked out due to poor service.

I have seen many comments comes from abroad as far from Bangladesh. I would like to remind you that I have been to Indian cottage tonight with family. I Found services were excellent and the food was so delicious.

Absolutely terrible, got sent two curry’s with raw chicken, when I called to complain the guy on the phone told me it’s not he’s fault or the chefs it’s because they’re busy. I explained how ridiculous that was and told him I’m not paying for raw chicken can he send my money back (not for side dishes) he said no he’ll send more curry’s. VERY disgusting service

Use this curry house twice a week always lovely friendly staff .delivery on time as requested .this takeaway has 5 stars not many can say that

Ordered Himalayan Chilli Chicken with Pilau Rice last night.Disappointing experience. Food was not perfectly cooked and took more than one hour to arrive.Later I called the manager to make a complain about food. Surprisingly, his behaviour was not friendly as well.

Had a delivery this evening, told that had to pay COD when i cancelled the order amazingly i could pay by card. Wish i hadn't bothered.Worst curry takeaway i have had in years. Everything just seemed poor quality ingredients. Chicken tikka was dry same to be said for the tandoori chicken, lamb was ok. Shish kebab tasted off. Very little chilli on the chilli naan no heat what so ever.So disappointing
