Lovely country pub cum cafe! Stopped for a post-walk drink. Just wish I could have stayed longer as the beer was delicious and refreshing

Gorgeous pub, went there at lunch time with my cycling club, lovely menu, priced really well and the staff couldn't have been more friendly 😊

A lovely pub in a top location. It is relaxed, warm and offers everything you want from a village pub. Nothing pretentious, just a good place to enjoy a drink or good food, and they do delicious cakes too.

A really lovely pub and absolutely lovely publicans, made us feel very welcome. Fab beer garden, and great paninis. The decor inside is fresh, stylish and charming.

New owners making a difference, pub was filled with locals on Friday night have a quiet beer, food was fine and its dog friendly. Great position in the village next to the stream as well.

Lovely old country pub on the High Street of a very old village. When I was there - Friday, Saturday, mainly locals - farmers etc. Lots of people watching 6 nations. Landlord David relatively new seems to be doing a good job. Didn't eat, so can't comment. Outside seating in the sun. Maybe need to prune/ control some of the clientele . Great pub in a beautiful area. Recommended.

Went for lunch with a large group of friends, they fit us in with no fuss and we all had a lovely lunch for a very reasonable price. Good food, good selection of drinks, nice location with pleasant staff.

Excellent today our first time here and it was super friendly staff and locals this may very well be our go to pub, dog friendly and superb beverages including, Bowman, Flower Pots, Doom Bar and an excellent Sauvignon Blanc from Spain as the House Wine… 👍🎺

Haven't visited for 10 years, nothing has changed, it's still a nice place to drink.If you get a chance visit yourself and experience a gentler kind of life.And now two years later it’s still just like pubs used to be. Visit and keep the beer flowing.
