Great cafe ...good food and friendly staff

We're not local so unlikely to be back soon, but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and a big pot of tea. Very friendly service with tables at the front and rear of the property. Mostly local patrons enjoying Julie's food and personality.

Very friendly. Food definitely home made but I made a poor choice.

Lovely afternoon tea served on a pretty tea-set and cakestands. Friendly staff and delicious food around the corner from DH Lawrence's birthplace. Great value for money and good choice of options on the menu; the gluten-free and dairy-free food was excellent. Very enjoyable and cosy afternoon had by all.

First class food, first class and cheerful service, I would recommend a visit. I will definitely go again.
