Delightful lunch and good ale in beer garden. Plenty of seating inside but enjoyed sunshine outside. Gardens beautifully tended with an extended countryside view. Food very nicely prepped and staff attentive. A hidden gem. Well definitely be back!

Nice meal, quite expensive. I had the sea bream with prawns. It was £20+ and I was quite hungry after. It's a sea bream fillet with 4 prawns and a few fries on the side. It was yummy, just alot of money for what you get. My husband had the pie and he said it was absolutely delicious. The staff are super friendly and it's dog friendly too. Even our boy who struggles being approached by other dogs was happy in the pub. So that made it an enjoyable time. They didn't have sandwiches or a set menu on Bank Holiday Monday, which was a shame as we were told there was a set menu.

Popped in by chance on a bank holiday weekend.Well worth going off the beaten track. Friendly staff, gorgeous views, great food and good service. Also a great place if doing a walk locally. All in all, a lovely stop. We will be back.

This is a really lovely quaint pub with a good atmosphere and lovely beer garden. We had a large family reunion there and our table was overlooking the garden which was lovely. The service was really friendly and attentive but not all of the food was very good. The pork scratchings were lovely as was the rhubarb Eton mess however the burger was not. It was not homemade or fresh and didn't come with the slaw that was advertised. A few of us had the burger and we all felt disappointed. Especially with the £15 price tag. This pub would have been amazing had it not been for the main meals.

Enjoyed a wonderful Murder Mystery dinner. A fun evening with great entertainment. Service was very good, and our friends enjoyed the wine. For me, a little disappointed with the real ale, just one choice of a rather uninteresting beer. However, I will be back

Great pub just off the beaten track, close to the A31 near Alton. Easy to find, this little gem of a pub has a great drink and food selection. I have been lucky enough to have had lunch and dinner here and both have been superb. I highly recommend the pub for its staff and very friendly atmosphere.

Had a delicious lunch here today. I had crab cake and seabass and my friend had roast pork with all the trimmings. For dessert I chose chocolate brownie with caramel sauce and ice-cream. Very nice country pub with friendly staff.

Had my wedding here a couple of weeks ago and it was incredible.Staff are so friendly and accommodating, the chef came up with a wonderful menu, and the food was AMAZING. All of our guests said nothing but great things. Very happy with everything and will be going back for a meal very soon.
