Great no nonsense pub, they also had ESB on draft.

Fantastic food and vegan friendly! Sharing the menus here as could not easily find on the web but quite a few plant based options. Fantastic, friendly service too - thank you! We shall be back

Really friendly pub with outdoor seating area at the front and a largish garden out the back, with a small play area.

Not the warmest of welcomes for new customers... no atmosphere.. no seats in the bar... empty restaurant.. did get to go in and sit in there with our drinks...

This appears to be a locals pub, food was OK but dinning area really needs a skip to take away all the chairs and tables felt like we were in a greasy spoon and there was a smell of fat. Staff performance was not really friendly felt they did not care. Won't be returning any time soon.

Great beer and food. Lovely old fashioned proper pub. Good bar snacks and separate restaurant for proper meals.

This is a gem of a pub fantastic food well worth the wait. Beautiful raost meats with lovely fresh veg. Piping hot and served with a lovely smile. The owners should be very proud of a good run shipWill be back very soon

Always a warm welcome from Maisie and her staff here at The Castle. Dogs made very welcome. Did an excellent job of keeping going during lockdown and we will continue to support this local pub. Good food, reasonably priced and nice beer and wine selection.

Great service and good food, plenty of tables in the garden and inside. No need to book, roll up and grab a good time.

One of my favourite pubs, since I was a child. Lovely garden, great location, friendly staff and good food and drink. My dog loves it too!
