The Deer's Hut in East Hampshire

I witnessed the bar staff asking the rowdy group to stop swearing and keep their dogs under control, Eventually they were asked to leave and not return. I doubt they were locals, most likely Easter bank holiday visitors. We did not let it ruin our experience though, the food was lovely, drinks delicious and the staff amazing as always.

Absolutely painful trying to speak to someone who can simply issue a voucher. First tried calling 4 days ago and promised call backs, carried calling on subsequent days when my calls were not returned and told no one is trained to take payment over the phone. ( I live 2 hours away and wanted this as a gift for my father who is local to the premises )Made a final call today on my fathers birthday to try and purchase the voucher to be told again his manager was too busy and to call back tomorrow.I hope the service is better for dinning clients as the simple process of trying to buy a voucher is ridiculous.

An amazing find! Coming up the A3 from Portsmouth my wife was searching for a restaurant off the A3 but not too far off, so we could easily get back on afterwards and we ended up here! And boy are we glad we did. A gorgeous pub / restaurant with quality and affluent style, with great food and very sensible prices; what a very fine place. Best to book, we were lucky and got one of the last tables and I hear its always busy.

Visited for mum's birthday.Very friendly welcome, attentive staff. Timely, well paces service throughout.Food was excellent. Delicious pheasant breast roast, good yorkies. Generous portions.Would only request slightly more traditional puds on the Sunday offering.Charming, cosy decor throughout. Even though the place was packed it didn't feel overly busy and didn't impact the experience.Definitely recommend and worth a visit back.

Exactly what I wanted from a nice pub on a cold wintery evening. Brilliant food - the pork belly and veg curry were spot on, and the service was perfect, top marks to Harvey (and everyone else). Only slight disappointment was the treacle tart being served cold... That said, already looking forward to going back.

Lovely warm atmosphere. The staff keep checking to see if we were ok that we were happy with our meals. They were very accommodating when we asked to move tables. Food was amazing!!

First time visiting for a friend's birthday. I had the specials. All very tasty Salmon skin a little too salty. The service was friendly and efficient. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. The beer (Wallops Wood) well kept. The pub had a nice atmosphere. And all at a reasonable price

Quaint family pub in Liphook. Really friendly staff and great table service when sat outside. The food is well presented and tasty with quite a varied menu. Would come here again and I can imagine will be bustling in the summer months.

Great service from a young friendly team. A Nice selection of pub classics and a very different range of specials. From memory there was halibut, brill, calves liver and lamb. We had the calves liver and brill and it was superb. Great meal and more than happy to leave the discretionary 10% service charge...aka tip .
