The Greatham Inn in East Hampshire

We visited this pub last year as was a halfway point and returned today. Unfortunately really disappointed. Food is overpriced and not actually that great. Dessert was frozen solid when first served, it was then returned microwaved. Warm cheesecake is not appetising at all!The atmosphere and surroundings are very nice, the staff and locals are friendly and welcoming, however we will not be returning.

Had read good reviews and wanted to stay local but have to say disappointing. The appetisers were more Iceland than Thailand and the Curry was like soup and not authentic. Expensive for the quality/quantity and the service wasn’t great ☹️

Good food good service drinks could be a bit cheaper.

Great meal, very nice staff

Since its under new management its become a Thai and Asian restaurant which is a sharp contrast to what it was before which was a nice English pub. As someone who lives within a 5 minute walk from the place. Since its under new management this has sadly changed, and despite the food being quite nice i will not be visiting again, once its a nice village pub once again ill visit again.

Under new management and now offering Thai/Asian cuisine. The whole place is now a lot brighter after redecoration/refurb and the food was fantastic. Hope the local community will support the new owners and make it the success it deserves to be.

Its a nice cozy little pub. The owner was very nice. But the menu needs to be more elaborate mentioning the ingredients. I nearly ordered a beef burger being a vegetarians!My little ones enjoyed the view of horses in the back garden.The toilets were nice and clean but there was no baby change. The owner asked me if I would like to change my baby's nappy on the toilet floor if I have a blanket or something! Yikes!!! Had to change him in our car!

It was nice, priced well. First option (food) not available, so 3 instead of 4 stars.

Absolutely great place, lovely atmosphere, friendly locals and great bar staff. Have had the roast dinner and also tried the pie night. Excellent! Value for money and great tasting food. I am very fussy when I eat out so this is a thumbs up from me. Highly recommended.

Only a couple of nights here but open mic night tonight is a breath of fresh air.Will come back if ever in the vicinity deffo as local drinkers (which seem to go home early because of school night) and the pub in general is and should be a great place to be and I'm sure it is.Cheers!
