Fabulous pub which takes you back to the good old days. Recommend the pea and ham soup, just like your mother made.

I was introduced to the delights of the Harrow yesterday and was so thrilled by being taken back in time. It is an absolute delight and although 40 miles from my home I am certain to return many times. Thank you Clare for the chat and plants too Wonderful.

Quirky and full of charm and steeped in history. We enjoyed our Ploughman's which arrived speedily, good chunks of creamy cheddar accompanied crusty farmhouse bread, very moorish. A peak inside is recommended, the snug dates back to Saxon times and is full of old world charm. A welcome and rewarding diversion off the A3.

Perfect country pub for good weather - since the interior is quite compact but the gardens are extensive. As well as serving local ales and cider the pub also has a menu of excellent and largely home made food. Very friendly and helpful staff. I almost feel like not recommending this as itβs the sort of place you donβt want to become TOO popular. During our visit we were joined by a very friendly robin after some free food. Lovely.

This is just such a lovely pub. The staff are so friendly and relaxed that you feel as if you're welcome visitors to their house and garden. The pub interior is very interesting and the garden is lovely. There is quite a lot of space and about 5 or 6 of the tables have covered areas over them.Real Ales and cider are served from barrels. The food is also delicious and mostly home-made. Some other reviewers have suggested the menu is limited. It does only have about 6 or 7 options but they are all delicious. Try the home-made soup which comes in a large dish with the soup almost overlapping the edges. The only slight downside I can think of to an otherwise perfect place is that there are smoking stoves in the garden (presumably just in colder weather) so you might find the smoke a bit irritating.

A serious Ham & Pea soup with a pint of Flack Manor. Happy Days!

Fantastic old style pub in the best way. Hasn't changed in like forever! Cash only, very small menu.(this is a good thing)π. Wonderful atmosphere. Not even got a proper bar, just a serving hatch. Don't even get me started on the toilets,,ππ. The only bad thing is it's not within staggering distance from where I live.......Highly recommended 5 stars all the way.

Absolutely phenomenal pub! I can't fault anything about it, superb beer, and a ploughman's lunch to die for all served up by fantastic people in stunning surroundings what's not to love! This is now one of my all time favourite country pubs, highly recommended! πππΌ

Wonderfully unspoilt pub with a rich history. The landlady is very friendly, the garden is very beautiful and full of bird life, and the beer is reasonably priced and delicious.

Absolutely amazing place! We are travelling around in a campervan and decided to stay here two nights it was so lovely. Everyone was so accommodating and extra measures put in place due to covid. Limited menu but that's because their dishes are based off the seasons, it is all homemade and locally sourced. We had the soup and treacle tart! Generous portions! Atmosphere was lovely, best pub I've ever been to!
