We went for a Sunday lunch with family. We've been before ,but not for a couple of years.Unfortunately the food was very average and the portions not great, two small slices of beef on the roast dinner.etc, etc,it's not some sort of fine dining, it's a pub!service very average.

Very pleasant welcome in a nicely refurbished restaurant. Delicious food, properly cooked and beautifully presented. Lovely waiting staff too! Thank you! 😀

We went to The Links for Mother’s Day. First time visiting and I had a wonderful time! The food was brill, the staff were lovely and attentive. The Trumpet player was a lovely addition and my Mother’s Day gift from the team was such a special moment too. We all really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to return.

Mother's Day Lunch at the Links was superb. Food was very nice and the staff were excellent. Well done on such a busy day. Tables nicely spaced out too.

Great pub, very friendly professional staff, really good menu selection and very tasty food. Roast pork loin with all the trimmings excellent, sticky toffee pudding good flavour but a little dry. Very good value for money will definitely visit again

Enjoyed the nut roast. Sadly only vegan as I went without the cauliflower cheese & the Yorkshire pudding. Would be better if they provided a vegan alternative to those parts of the meal, otherwise it seems overpriced

It's ok, but there are a lot better close enough by. On the plus side, the building is lovely as is the setting, fair selection of beer and the atmosphere is normally pretty good. On the minus side - it's the food that consistently lets it down, tried a few times now but always poor quality, couple of times there have been errors too. Vegetarian selection is weak and even for non-veggies some simple basics are missing (eg fries - only fat chips that are very oily). With a good chef and food /wine menus that work together this could be a great venue.

Excellent food, excellent service. There is a great menu with food for all tastes, and at a reasonable price. The server we had was very courteous, helpful, and had a great memory, remembering 8 different orders of both starter & main! The ambience is relaxing & warm, a real English country pub!

The Manager Jason is on the ball in this very well run pub. Great team on the floor, chefs know their business with delicious food & interesting specials. All in all a great evening out. The blackboard artist who I understand works in the kitchen deserves a bonus for her artwork, loved the very realistic Santa 🎅

Straight away this place was nice. Very warm welcome seated by a very nice gentleman. The atmosphere was very warming and pretty. Lots of effort made. The food. The food... best chips I think I have ever eaten in a restaurant in my life honestly. The burger was delicious and trackelments mustard is SO hard to find anymore and when that was brought over my face dropped haha. Love it.Fiance also enjoyed here food and especially enjoyed the dessert. She loved it. The service was just great. Very genuine people that seemed just happy to help and very chilled.Very rare experience to go out to a restaurant and receive this kind of experience, sad as it is to say.Top job guys, I hope you enjoy your job because you are nailing it!! Also very good price for what we got! 5*
