The Rising Sun in East Hampshire

Really good menu, lots of options (would definitely recommend any of the sharing platters). Staff really friendly too!

Visited the pub last evening with family and overall the food, wine and service were excellent.My only negative was the Angus burger I had was very dry and actually had a problem digesting and had to drink alot of water to help move it.I have visited the Rising Sun many times and always a great experience and will definitely return but not for the burger unfortunately.

Waited along time for food but was delicious once we got it. Really good vibe in this family friendly pub.

Food was very tasty and the staff lovely. We requested to move tables as our reserved one wasn't appropriate and they happily accommodated us. We can highly recommend the camembert and the pork belly! The pub was very busy but service was still good. Definitely worth dropping by.

Such a wonderful place to sit out in the sun and enjoy a delicious meal and drinks. Very friendly to all while retaining a lovely village feel.

Highly recommend this pub its professional laid back and has great food , the toilets are always clean as is the pub it’s self inside and out.There is disabled access to the pub and to the toilets. The car park is ample big enough but also has another one at the other side , landlord and lady are very nice and the chef and staff also great

We visited The Rising Sun as a group of 13 ladies in May this year. The pub/restaurant came highly recommended by The Night Pastures glamping site up the road where we were staying for a hen do. They did not disappoint. We were sat on 2 tables next to each other in the heated outdoor area. Food and cocktails were lovely. Communication with Ben in the lead up to us visiting was great - including helping us arrange balloons and table decorations with a local company (Hokey Cokey Party Shop). He (and another member of staff) then went above and beyond to drive us home after we had issues with our taxis. Thank you! :)

Food is very good quality with great flavours. Portion size of starters is a bit small for the price, but main courses are big and tasty.Staff are top class. Attentive, efficient and friendly.In all a great night out.
