Out of the thing I really wanted. Means another visit when it comes in. But managed to get other things. Checkout operator very pleasant. Tidy and well managed store

If you're the sort of person that eats pheasant for breakfast, considers foie gras and avocado an essential item, and flushes the toilet using anything inferior to Dom Perignon, this is the supermarket for you.

Shopping in Waitrose is always a pleasure it's well space out always well stocked nothing is to much trouble for the staff .there is not enough space for me to keep saying why I shop there ,only other supermarkets could learn a lot from their example 👍👍

Love this store, clean friendly, lovely produce and a super coffee shop

I like to come here in search of eco friendly products (more variety than sainsburys).Considering the relatively small size of this store it is like an aladins cave inside. Great selection of things one cannot find in other Alton stores. Always some interesting special offers. Plenty of staff if help is required.

A really nice, small Waitrose. This one has just about everything you need.Staff are pleasant and helpful.I bought Thick chicken soup with grains which was delicious. 😋

The coffee at the coffee shop is quite good and they've got great patisserie choices!

Everyone says Waitrose is expensive, OK some of their stuff is, but if you have enough time to look around you'll find something decent. Own brands are actually quite cheap and just as good as anything else. Lovely, helpful staff, some of them treat me like an old friend! And they always seem to be cheerful. Thanks!

I don.t know what has happened to Waitrose in Alton.I am finding it unpleasant to visit. The staff are unhelpful and at times quite rude. A lot of product has short sell by dates, many products unavailable, and the fish counter quite smelly. Fresh fish does not smell, does make me concerned re hygiene.....

Disappointing . I have shopped in this store most days since it opened. The staff have always been superb, going that extra mile to help.Upon reaching the checkout yesterday I noticed large drops of liquid on the belt and dirt.I asked the till operator, who I had not seen before, if it was still policy to clean the conveyor belt in bewtween customers. They replied that it used to be the case but now it is done only when they think it might need doing. As cleaning was not going to happen I put most of my large shop on the belt. When the belt was full the assistant got the spray bottle that was in front of her and said she could clean the belt if I wanted her to. I declined as my goods were already on the belt.Waitrose need to stick to their rules of cleaning till areas in between customers and especially if they can see unknown substances there. Having to go home and clean everything before it can be stored is not acceptable, especially in the present covid climate.Waitrose please make sure that your staff follow the rules and failing that use common sense.
