Ye Olde George Inn in East Hampshire

Lovely pub in a beautiful village in the South Downs, absolutely delicious food and super friendly staff. What more could you ask for? I recommend 100%

Stopped off at the end of a hike for a quick pint. Didn’t eat but the Sunday Lunch smelled great. Female bar person could have been a bit more welcoming

Such a warm greeting on arrival that a positive outlook was set from the start. Our meal was great and the dining room looked recently decorated with lovely comfy chairs beautifully covered.

Lovely atmosphere! Lots of space and friendly staff. For a pub in a small village, it's one I'd very much recommend! 😊

Been here twice for a roast, great quality with a good range of vegetables. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too

Lovely pub , staff and good food. Sympathetically refurbished. I hesitated giving 5 stars, the outside space is either the road or seating next to the car park, but it is in an otherwise beautiful and quiet village setting, so I have to forgive it that! 🍺🍺🍺 There are lovely walks from here, particularly Park Hill or even just a stroll around the village itself.

Visited for drink a few weeks ago and pub was friendly and busy, beer was good, did not eat there as could not get through on their telephone to book. Friendly staff and patrons.

Old pub with nice bedroom only problem was that the continental breakfast ended up being a bowl of wonderful porridge. The owners should travel to Spain to see what a proper continental breakfast should be especially as our nice room costb£130 for one night. East Meon is beautiful and worth a visit.

Great traditional pub with friendly staff and fantastic food. Not cheap, but worth it. I would recommend the 8oz chateaubriand fillet steak, magnificent!

Really lovely pub. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was really good, although I would say the chips were particularly salty which I didn't enjoy.
