01 Adana Bbq and Meze Restaurant in Eastbourne

What an amazing party we had.Once again this restaurant has provided a truly memorable experience. It was my wife’s birthday and we booked for a table of 18 people. As ever they were very accommodating. We pre ordered the food and chose the tables. I was able to arrive early in the afternoon to do the party decorations.We were preparing for a family visit to Turkey. So this was a perfect place for us to celebrate. As ever the food was delightful. From the plates of delectable Mezze starters through to the heaped plates of succulent grilled meats. Tender lean lamb, melt in the mouth chicken. Amazingly seasoned Kofta. Fantastic breads and salad to accompany it all. Washed down with plenty of Turkish red wine and Efes lager.Everyone was very happy with the fabulous meal, amazing service and friendliness of the family run business. The atmosphere was perfect.Thank you for everything. We’ll be back soon.

Amazing place!The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was freshly prepared in front of us.Very nice experience, if I get to Eastbourne again definitely going back there!

Lovely place Excellent food, cooked fresh on the open grill and oven. Good to see the glowing charcoal, really puts you in the mood for a great meal. Smells amazing as you walk in. Friendly too.

Very good experience on a busy Saturday night. This place can seat about 40 and it was full.Nevertheless, service was quick and the food came at a decent speed.The food is the star here. We had 3 different dishes and all we well cooked, excellently spiced and very tasty. Portions were large as well, with plenty of food on the plate.Some free bread with olives to start as well as a mini Turkish pizza each just added to the evening.We had a dessert as well. Typical Turkish sweets, full of syrup and very well made. The baklava was one of the best we've ever had.Prices for what we had were reasonable as well, coming in at just below £28 per head. We didn't have any alcohol, so if you do, you can expect a significant increase.The owners were friendly and did not bother us too much, leaving us to enjoy our food.You really must book at this place. I saw 3 different couples turned away as they did not have a booking.Good food, reasonably priced in a nice environment with good service. Very highly recommended.

We could not recommend this restaurant enough. We had the most amazing dinner here, a few months ago. My and my partner have been treated like royalty and the food was to die for. And when the bill came we had a very lovely surprise: it was much much cheaper than we were expecting. We would travel from London to Eastbourne only to have dinner in this restaurant.

Small, cosy and warm restaurant. Lovely ambiance and perfect for both a family night out and with friends. The open grill really heats up the restaurant so we were sweltering sitting next to it. Good measures to help with social distancing in covid but it is an increadibly small restaurant. Limited seating so booking a must. Wide range of Turkish foods, some of the descriptions on the menu are a tad bit and miss, so you can be a little unsure if what you are getting but all the food is lovely, freshly prepared and reasonably priced especially with the large portion sizes. Very easy to rack up a big bill, escpessially with the drinks so do be careful but a lovely experience. Has decent sized toilets in the back but steps at the entrance (which is also narrow) of the restaurant and to get to the toilets so not wheelchair friendly at all.

Great staff!!! ❤I love the open cooking action you can see!The eggplant/ aubergine is EXCELLENT!!! I have never enjoyed aubergine more than I did here! They brought us some mini pizzas and a Turkish bread while we waited. Great place to visit with friends

The food was on point, cooked fresh in front of you and generous portions. They greet you with a complimentary basket of fresh, warm bread, butter and olives. Meat is halal. Staff was really lovely and good to interact with.

Had an incredible meal at this lovely friendly, family run restaurant.Great selection of meze and freshly baked bread followed by some superb bbq'd lamb and chicken.Atmosphere and service both faultless.Baklava and ice cream for dessert was delicious too, despite us thinking we were too full to eat any more.
