Anema e core in Eastbourne

Amazing vegan options , some of the nicest Vegan Italian food I have ever eaten, highly recommended.

Wow what a perfectly lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The dishes we had were perfect from start to finish and so wish there was a restaurant like this near where we live.We found this little gem by accident as we were planning to go to a different restaurant but I'm so very glad we ended up at Anema e Core. By far the best Italian food we've had yet. Can't wait to get back to Eastbourne and book a table here again! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you to the staff and Chefs for making us feel so welcome and producing such delicious meals.

Family run restaurant with good food and excellent service. It was lovely to enjoy a visit to sunny Eastbourne and our meal at Anema e Core. Can recommend the seafood dishes.

Wow, what a gem. So so glad to have found this whilst we are on holiday. The food is incredible, homemade, tasty, decent, gorgeous food. The service was friendly and excellent. I asked for some dishes to be explained to me, which they were with a real authentic knowledge. It's no surprise it was full on a week day. I had spaghetti carbonara, the pasta was plump and fresh. Really look forward to going back, massive shout out to the chefs, cooks

Amazing food and service. We had the frittura di pesce which is a fried seafood platter Really good! Homemade pasta for main which was great. Highly recommend. I can see why they're the number 1 Italian in Eastbourne!!!

Amazing food. The service was quick and friendly. The calzone had the right proportion of filling to dough and wasn't undercooked or slimy.Best calzone I have had since I have been to Italy.The hot chocolate I had was also very good so would recommend to anyone who appreciates a good hot drink. Will definitely be coming back!

So mixed experiences. My food was lovely, bruschetta followed by a delicious pasta dish. However my husband ordered calamari and asked if it was fresh, he was told yes but on arrival it was obviously frozen. He then had lasagna which was cold in the middle. Unfortunately when he complained the waitress took offence and was very defensive. If she had been apologetic the whole incident would habe been rectified but instead it became a battle. The house red wine was lovely but sadly we will never return

Best pasta I've had outside of Italy (my husband is Italian so we eat there a lot). I had the pumpkin ravioli with sage, my husband had the wild boar Ragu both were amazing. For desserts we has the rum cake and Panna cotta with pistachio again amazing!

What a lovely restaurant. Run by a very nice team. Great service. The pizza was delicious. I ordered the tiramisu to take back to my hotel, it was very tasty. Clean toilets with plenty of hand-wash and hand towels. I will definitely visit again when in Eastbourne.

quite possible one of the best meals I've ever had ! the picture is of the starter myself and my 2 friends had, as you can see the portions are not small ! although fried, my starter was very light and tasty. for mains I had the mushroom risotto, it was incredible, very rich and creamy but not too heavy. my friends had the lasagne, they said it was the best they'd ever had, I had a taste and it was delicious, again full of meat but not too heavy, and again large portions ! the staff were brilliant too. I will definitely be coming back here again
