Food was perfectly ok except my sister had the beetroot steak and said it had no taste of beetroot at all. The service was incredibly slow. We waited ages to get served and even longer for the meals. Disappointing as the restaurant was not very busy. Tables around us who arrived after us were served before. Considering we had a crying baby with the party you would have thought they would have been eager to serve us more quickly!

I was a little wary of this place being a chain (I usually prefer to support independent restaurants where possible) but I was specifically looking for a hearty vegan breakfast & their offering sounded worth a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! The breakfast was great; very tasty & an impressive variety of ingredients on the plate. Staff were friendly & very accommodating. Happy I gave it a go!

I came here for my birthday lunch and it was lovely. The Eggs Benedict with fries was gorgeous, and the puddings were very delectable. The service was a little slow but as we weren't in a rush it didn't impact our visit this time.

Good location, cosy ambience, warm people, and great food. I mean, you can't go wrong if a place has all that, so give them a try. It'll be worth your time.

Wonderful staff first and foremost. They created lovely atmosphere. We had the cream tea and the scones were melt-in-the-mouth good.

This place is incredible. Visited Eastbourne may times but never been here until it popped up on OpenTable as available for lunch. Really must try if you haven't already and I can highly recommend the Poached egg and smashed Avacardo salad.

Delicious food. Not the cheapest but not too expensive either. Somewhere in the middle for price. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy and the service is polite and attentive. Never had a bad meal here.

We booked and when we turned up the lady behind the counter ignored us for at least a minute. Then said she would get someone to deal with us. We waited a few minutes before someone came over and seated us. Staffed seemed like they couldn't be arsed to be there. I have been to Bill's in Bath and that was a totally better experience than here. The food was served and was okay. The pancakes just seemed like it was all put on the plate with no effort. Bit of syrup on top then mainly blueberries. No syrup in the layers of pancakes, so the others that weren't on top were dry. I've had the same in bills in Bath and they were presented beautifully and loads of fruit and syrup in between the pancakes. It's a shame as if the effort was there it would be very yummy and better experience.

Servers were nice and polite, food was great and the portions were good. It has a very nice and interesting ambience and everything looked nice and clean. Servers were keep checking us and they were quickly available in case we needed anything. The only thing that we all agreed (6 of us) that we didn't like was the very limited menu, even for the post-lockdown. However, apart from one particular smoothie that a friend wanted to order, everything else was available (which is often not the case with bigger menus), it was ready in timely manner and all dishes were presented nicely. Even though I originally wanted to go to some other place I was actually positively surprised and I (actually we, as the entire group is sharing the same opinion) would gladly visit again 🙂

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. (The tall white waitress with a beautiful smile was amazing) The food was super nice you can easily tell they go for the best-quality products. However, the portion is small. :) I ordered the traditional breakfast and I was slightly still hungry after I ate.The coffee was so good too, I drink black coffee so I can easily tell if the beans are nice or no. It was so good. Will come back.
