Buffet Time in Eastbourne

Unpleasant management who treat staff with no respect. Very poor food, usually lukewarm and lacking in any flavour. If you enjoy eating out then you will find greater reward elsewhere!

First time visit to Buffet Time and would rate it 5 stars I couldn't fault the place.The website was easy to use and easy to book our table. We booked for 7:15 on 23rd March.Once we arrived the venue looked so lovely, some really nice features and most importantly the venue was clean and tidy.We were shown to our table and sorted out the drinks order by a lovely young lady who was polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She was only young but had the whole restaurant under control and all the guests seems to be having a good time.The range of food was really good and I tried a little bit of everything, the quality was great and it all tasted amazing.Would definitely recommend and will be going back ourselves again soon

We have been to Buffet Time quite a few times since it first opened, and have always enjoyed our meals.It came under new management a short while ago, but the only thing that has changed is the layout, when you pay and the decor - none of which is bad 😊I'm assuming, due to too many people leaving, you now have to pay before you eat.There is two different menus, lunch and dinner. The lunch menu runs until about 4.30pm I believe, and at 5pm the dinner menu begins. Both menus are different prices, so it's best to be aware of that.

Had a good time here with the family. A great variety of dishes were on offer, all at the right temperature (which is always my buffet fear) with the prawns being my favourite, duck was really good too. Reasonably priced, clean restaurant, and a charismatic manager called Bobby. Can’t really go wrong.

It's the first time I've been here and I've been disappointed. Two kinds of vegetables and just one kind of fish, the rest many meat dishes. And for dessert, many kinds of jelly as if it were in the hospital. If you like curry and rice, this place is perfect.

This is the first time I had buffet in the UK.The New Buffet Time does not have many choices nor expensive dishes. But as a Hongkonger, I’m very happy to eat so many Asian dishes at one time with a fair price (drinks not included).Today’s champion is the salt-and-pepper shrimp. Sweet and tasty. And you must try the crispy fried chicken chop too. Crispy outside and juicy inside. My focus is on the sushi, which is always expensive to eat here. There are two kinds of soups: hot and sour soup and corn soup. They surprised me. Very local Hong Kong style. I like their cake too. Soft and not too sweet.I miss my home very much. Feeling a relief, this meal made me very satisfied. So I give them full marks.

Pretty good, nice staff, nice refurb, good turnover of food, good selection of options, soft drinks refills, eat as much as you like, great value.Been a couple of times now in the last couple of months both times very pleased and happy, will definitely be returning.Recommend ye give it a go if ye like an oriental style buffet.

Nice decor ...Waiter was abit lacking personality. No introduction on how to obtain our food or drinks in fact hardly any conversation at all !...quite a good selection of dishes but I found some weren't very warm ..We sat at the back under a cold air pipe so i had to keep my jacket on ...Loved the single chairs very pretty...Good for families reasonably priced

What a find. These eat as much as you want p[laces are often serving up pretty bland food. However, this is the exception to the rule. The choice and variety of food is wide. The quality is top notch, for its type. For a great night out, a lovely experience, with no fuss and frills, this is a great place to visit.

Used to be rubbish, must keep changing chef! Quite fresh and decent at the moment. Better value with take home box than getting a delivery. Not so good value with the drinks. But cocktails aren't too bad a flavour.
