COSMO Eastbourne in Eastbourne

Well what can I say....I brought my wife here for Mother's Day with our 3 sons and they had really made the effort to decorate the restaurant for the occasion which was a nice touch.The staff were all extremely friendly from when we arrived to them talking to us and interacting with our boys making them laugh.The food was lovely with plenty of choice to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. £14 for an adult on a Sunday and just £7 for children.We travelled over an hour and a half to visit Eastbourne for the day and we're so glad we chose this restaurant.We'll definitely be returning and recommend a visit as you won't be disappointed.

Not bad but not great. Desserts were not my taste and seemed too cheap. They put haribos on a slices of cake. They god killing slices and cut them in half...Price is not bad considering options of mains. I don't think buffets like this are my thing. I'd rather pay for a restaurant with a good quality dish. I liked that the lighting was natural and not too bright.

I really enjoy the food here. I love the choice and the quality if the food us good. I tend to stick to the Chinese dishes but they do sushi and a curry too. Good to have some nice sweet treats too as well as fruit but particularly love the toffee apple pieces.

I went here under the impression is was a world buffet with a variety of foods. I was really shocked to see mostly Chinese food and very little of anything else. Every dish was nearly empty and they didn’t seem to replenish anything! Almost every bit of meat I tried was fat and I ended up leaving a lot of food because I just couldn’t bare to eat it. I was charged £17 for 4 diet cokes and they were all warm and flat, as if they had just been poured from a bottle. Some of the meat definitely didn’t seem cooked and I can see several reviews saying the same thing. Very concerning as they could make people ill. I already feel really sick. Would never return and personally would advise anyone considering a meal here to go elsewhere. Also noticed the manager was quite loud pointing as one of the customers talking about her, seemed quite aggressive.

Really awful experience last night. The food tasted ok but there was hardly any choice at all. All the containers were empty whenever we went up. The dessert selection was utterly awful - all shop bought cakes and a very odd selection of things like jam tarts. Both of us were fed up and disappointed and just went home. Avoid.

It's the home of Cosmo and where it all began.Due to the limited space in this establishment don't compare it with others that you may have tried.The concept is broadly the same.This week we have had lunch on Tuesday then returned Thursday evening for dinnerOverall the food was very well presented and cooked perfectly, A good selection of desserts and ice cream to round it off.The normal alcoholic drinks and wines all fairly priced.Service was faultless on both occasions Staff are attentive and very politeI've seen lots of comments both good and bad posted on various sites and all I can suggest is that you go and see for yourselfIts not going to cost you a lot of money to find out.

No atmosphere, empty even on a Saturday night at prime time & no music, could just hear them putting plates away.Food was dry, limited in variety, and in some cases uncooked (check the Chinese chicken curry is cooked before eating it - I made the mistake of not doing this).Poor service and way overpriced for what you get. Would not recommend unless you’re in the mood for the above. Can’t see it sticking around long.

While visiting this evening myself and others witnessed the most disgusting attitude and accusations from staff to a party of people on another table. Miscommunication and haste led to a waiter shouting at the party accusing them of being racist, when actually they were complimenting the beauty of another language being spoken behind them. No respect was given nor the chance to explain that they had been overheard, we in fact overheard them and there was positively no racism in their innocent comment. The waiters behaviour has diminished any faith in Cosomos customer services and I did not witness one apology from any member of staff management or otherwise being given for the accusations or the staff members attitude. Also, the chicken was raw.

We went from london and we expected will get good environment with good service. We disappointed about their behaviour.There was 2 girls and one boy .one probably from china and one was white.I went with my 2 daughters. After I entered ,I spoken with them and they said that for Adult £13.99 and for kids £7.00.When I went to pay my bill, they said to me that bill will be for 3 adults and one child.I asked them before we discussed the price and that time didn’t tell us that kids will accept by heights not by the age.My kids age was 5 years and 10 years old.They didn’t apologise for not to explain their guidelines. They were desperately asking money and they didn’t do any apology.I am requesting to everyone please don’t believe their verbal commitment because they will change verbal commitment after you finish food .Horrible customer serviceMisleading with customers.Rude behaviour

Annoyingly told The Fork booking system that I had no shown and continued that mistruth. They forgot I had a receipt so The Fork fixed the situation so I received the promotional reward, but it's disappointing. Food was adequate, service was polite but won't go back.
