Best cafe in Eastbourne! I regularly visit for cream teas, cakes, breakfasts and their fabulous roast dinners on a Sunday. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

·

The inside looks great. However, we had afternoon tea. Completely overpriced. They charged us 6£ for a top up of tea. Cake was dry.Sadly it wasn’t a pleasure and I won’t recommend it.

Tiny little tea room with the most delicate scones and softest homemade cakes! The staff were lovely and as a tea drinker I really appreciate my tea in a pot with an extra pot of water to top it up with. THIS is an English High Tea. 😍😍😍

Went to the Dickens Tea Cottage for lunch today (Saturday) and it was delicious! Our first visit for a while but it felt perfectly Covid safe, everyone was wearing masks and hand sanitizer available on entry. Lunch was fantastic as usual, but I'm reluctant to praise it too highly in case it gets too popular! If you're thinking of visiting then you should, you definitely won't regret it, it's such great food and absolute value for money

Small, cosy and very interesting. Absolutely full of Dickens-belia a made up word! Fascinating to look around the walls. Refreshments were lovely and quite reasonably priced. Toilet is accessable via steep, narrow stairs which may be challenging for some. Cash only payment.
