Duke of Devonshire in Eastbourne

Amazing pub, really friendly staff and I can say they look happy to work there. The food was really tasty and the music was top. We will be back . Gustavo

We met our friends here who were down for the weekend. This is a friendly pub, staff are lovely and run the pub really well.We didn't eat but plenty of people were and the food looked good.Beer is reasonably priced too which is a bonus.Only thing I would say that could be improved are the ladies loos, they were clean but require a bit of tlc.

Came in for lunch on Wednesday! Was greeted happily by the staff! We sat down & they had a great 2 for £9 menu! I was served quickly at the bar, we had fish & chips. Toilet are lovely & clean as is the rest of the pub! We also had some cheeky cocktails 🍹 Caroline, Monika & Kate are honestly the best start you can asked for!

Had the most amazing time at the duke from the minute you walk through the door. Very happy and helpful staff especially Monika and Caroline helping us decide on the food and drinks. Very well priced and I must say the food was so tasty especially the pizza so well done to the chefs as well. Will definitely be back again. Well done to all.

The food here is fabulous. It’s my go to place to get lunch. The staff are always welcoming and are amazing with my two children. Perfect place to go as a family.Served by Craig on our most recent visit and he was very helpful.Would recommend to everyone.

Lovely staff and great atmosphere Megan awesome team member. Food could use a lot of work as a few times the presentation is lacking and chicken wings came out over cooked. Good prices and worth a visit 👍

Popped in a couple of day running with our little dog and each time felt completely at home. Great staff and great food. Lovely spacious and relaxed environment. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Amazing pub/restaurant my family and I we come to Eastbourne for holidays and we found this pub on Google maps definitely we will be back. The food was amazing, really clean, friendly , staff friendly even when we can’t speak fluent English.

We strolled into the Duke of Devonshire pub..I actually thought it was a wether spoons lol.. similar but then I noticed music was playing...The menu was traditional pub grub which we like ..steak n ale pie with veg and triple fried chips X 2 were ordered .The staff were very welcoming and the service was fast and efficient .The food arrived nice n hot ,well layed out on nice oval plates .Chips in a mini bucket/pot again nice n hotPlates warmed ..Everything cooked perfectlyNice little gravy boat .. pos could have done with a wee bit more gravy tbhSpoke with some customer, one older chap said he'd been coming in for the past 17 yrs..Family freindy pubNice outside seatingToilets nice n clean

Went here for breakfast on Wednesday 14th July. Friendly staff and nice booths. Food was very tasty (small Irish breakfast at only £3.95, which was actually quite large!). Very cheap and much nicer than Wetherspoons.
