Excellent lunch spent at .gr/eat Greek cuisineGreat food at a good price.The Mydia & Garides Ahnista Gfo is one of the best Mussell / Prawn dishes I've ever eaten!!Highly recommended

Having recently moved back to East Sussex & having a passion for good food, I have been looking for independent local Restaurants that offer good quality reasonably priced food coupled with friendly service. gr/eat ticks all the boxes. I had lunch there with a couple of friend's. The food was excellent, authentic & competitively priced & our waitress was both efficient & friendly. Highly recommended.

The fact that we had to book over a week in advance was the first good sign. And we weren't disappointed; the food was lovely; felt like we were eating authentic Greek cuisine; non pretentious, good value, and very tasty. Lovely staff carried on smiling and being polite despite a table full of very noisy people near us, including one especially loud and entitled woman who treated the staff like low life. We left feeling very full after our vegetarian meze, and looking forward to another visit when it's hopefully a little less noisy.

Dinner was a birthday treat which was simply superb. Great flavoursome attractively present nourishing food. Lots of variety with new twists on old favourites. Attentive and friendly service. Very reasonably priced. We will be back!

The lady staff are extremely friendly and the restraint has a real lovely feel to it. Food was good, portion size was small. My only concern is the gentleman that seems to be in charge. The table was booked for an hour and a half as per their website terms, however whilst chatting after our meal, this man came out of nowhere and placed the bill on the table. He didn’t ask how our meal was, nor if we would like the bill. The restraint wasn’t even full so not too sure as to why he felt the need to pressure potential returning customers. The ladies and kitchen staff however were excellent so I couldn’t give one star. -2 stars for that member of staff

This place is nicely set out.The staff were friendly. The portion sizes are perfect.We were pleased that enough flat bread was served with the dips. The wine we chose was low to mid price and was delicious. Our whole meal could not be faulted.We would certainly eat here again

Throughly enjoyed our Saturday lunchtime meal. Went in on the off chance and got the last table, so shows it was very popular. When the food came I could see why, it was freshly cooked, authentic flavours, well presented and I enjoyed every mouthful. Told some friends about it and they also held it high regard. It is now my place to eat if we visit Eastbourne but I will be sure to book. Try it you won't be let down.

This has to be one of the very best places to eat in Eastbourne. Outstanding in every way. Very extensive menu - it was hard to choose what to have! The food was amazing - grilled octopus starter was utterly delicious, and my partner very much enjoyed his Greek sausages in tomato sauce. We ordered the Aegean Seafood platter to share for the main course and it was superb. Very good wine list. Staff were just lovely and the whole place had a great vibe. We will most definitely be returning.

We ate as a table of four and decided to order the meze sharing platter. The food was exceptionally tasty, service was friendly and efficient, the wine was good and there was a lively atmosphere. We had a great evening and will come back again soon!

Lovely date-night with the lady at this Greek restaurant in Eastbourne.Friendly staff, great food and a pleasant atmosphere.Had the calamari and halloumi to start, which both accompanied by a dip and grape+basil salad to add extra flavour to the starter dishes.We then enjoyed the mussels and beef stew as mains.Both of which filled us up and tasted great.Will be returning to try other dishes, I assure you!
