Happy Dragon Inn in Eastbourne

The food was very nice and with a set price per head for as much as you can eat it is very reasonable. A vast selection of dishes, so something for everyone. The one complaint we had was it felt cold in there, to the point 2 people put their coats back on.

Love this place. All you can eat for a set price. They bring out enough for the amount of people eating which is great because it means food isn't wasted

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and I really enjoy the food however, recently I have found that the service has really dropped. We had 30-40 minute waits between orders. The staff have changed and it just feels like it has taken a massive turn for the worst. The restaurant only had three tables filled, so I don’t think poor service can be blamed on being busy. One staff member was too busy cleaning glasses or refilling a fridge while we waited for service. I want this to be the Happy Dragon I once knew, not a sad dragon!Please be more attentive to your customers and don’t just focus on take aways!

Table for 6 booked for 7:00.50 minute wait for some of the starters, the rest appeared 20 mins later. We ordered the main meal and this came a little quicker. Sadly, not the rice... Oh well, tuck in, all finished and the rice arrives at the table after another 20 mins. The service was so bad, it was hilarious. We decided to skip the sweet course, life is short, too short to wait for deep fried ice cream!

Worst tasting food I have had for a long time. Awful service, dishes arriving cold or not at all. 1hr wait for starters. Rude staff. More interested in fulfilling take away orders than looking after restaurant guests. Definitely one to avoid

Really nice evening meal. Fast service, friendly, funny waitresses will be going back.

Waited 2 hours for the food and when it arrived, was stone cold and the food was very oily. Asked for a replacement which wasn’t any better. They offered a £5 voucher for next time which is a joke!

On holiday and ordered Saturday for delivery we were 0.5 miles away, we were told 1 hr 20 min wait, phoned again and told another 20 minutes. Food came and I had ordered crispy chilli beef, revolting, burnt and no sign of chilli, waste of time and money

Non welcoming, poor quality dishes apart from starters. Quarter size portions, lack of ' anything else table ' ' any more drinks ' ' how is/was the meal "Food was on par with dog food to be quite frank. £8 for a few cokes , flat etc. Seioisly don't get sucked into the £19.99 all you can eat. Because you won't want to eat much. So dissappointed. Never mind you live and learn .
